As year 2011 goes to another new year 2012, we will make a wish for the new year... Aren't you? Am I? Ask yourself then... Me? Honestly, I don't have any wish this very new year of 2012... I can't lied myself abut that thing... My baby did ask me, what is your wish for this new year? I was speechless when she spoke about it... In order to avoid myself from answering that question, I distract her with other question... Before you ask me, what's your wish then? Then she shared her wish with me... "More love, Peace, Work, Help Family and.... Marry as soon as possible"... Oh gosh... Again I'm speechless... I was very touched with her wish... In my heart, I said it to myself, I shall make her wish come true... But for her last wish, I think I will bring it to another two more years... Sorry... Hehehe...

Couldn't update my blog as frequent as I wish to due to some reasons... But as I said... I might too late to wish you all guys... My blogger's friends... and those who are love to visit my blog.... The Malaysia Agreement 1963 is a binding treaty that was signed by several representative from the five parties, namely United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Federation of Malaya, North Borneo (Sabah), Sarawak and Singapore.

The entry of the United Kingdom as a signatory to the treaty was to ensure, especially for Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore, that their sovereignty and jurisdictions were in force in the agreement.

It can also be said that the United Kingdom was one of the main observers of the agreement

Agreement illegal

The Malaysia Agreement also required all partners to be signatories before a final decision was made.

The intention of including all four signatories was to ensure they were in full knowledge of the agreement between the Federation of Malaya and the sovereign states of Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore when forming Malaysia.

Therefore, Malaysia has been described by various parties as a coalition of partners coming together to form a unified new country and with many of its respective sovereign features included.

When Singapore was removed from the Malaysian Federation in 1965, questions arose and continued to persist as to what had happened to the Malaysia Agreement signed by all parties in 1963.

The absence of Singapore has directly resulted in the constitutional treaty, which included the constitutions of Sabah and Sarawak in the Federation of Malaysia, being invalid.

The Malaysia Agreement is now neither valid nor legal in that the Federation of Malaysia is now an illegal entity because of the removal of Singapore which was one of the signatories to the agreement, which led to the origin of the federation itself.

Neither the Malaysia Agreement nor the Malaysian Federal Constitution provides for the removal of any partner in the Federation of Malaysia.

In which case, does the Prime Minister or Parliament of Malaysia have the power to state that Singapore should not be based on the resolution of the Parliament of Malaysia?

Partners have the same rights

Do they have the power to allow all 104 Members of Parliament from the 11 states of Malaya to determine – which is contrary to the minority of the 36 MPs from Sabah and Sarawak – their future?

It is disappointing that while Sabah and Sarawak had disagreed with the dismissal of Singapore, the Malayan states could still get a two-thirds majority or more to decide on the destiny of the Borneo states.

The 11 states, which form the starting line-up of the Federation of Malaya, should not have the rights to decide whether Singapore could or could not be removed from the Federation of Malaysia.

This is because Malaysia was not formed by the federated states alone.

Through the Malaysia Agreement, each state that signed the agreement are assumed as a couple (partners) who have the same rights.

They have formed Malaysia with Singapore, Sabah and Sarawak.

Still not many people know that Sabah and Sarawak DID NOT join Malaysia

In 1963, four separate governments decided to join together as one nation. The already independent Malaya, Singapore, British North Borneo (now Sabah) and Sarawak. Of course we all know what happened to Singapore in 1965 and although Minister Mentor Lee was pretty much saddened, he decided to move on and today Singapore is many steps ahead of Malaysia. Anyway, let's focus back to Sabah. Today, Sabah and Sarawak is just treated as 'another' Malaysian state.

Lesson no. 1: Not many people know that Sabah and Sarawak DID NOT join Malaysia. Sabah and Sarawak, together with Singapore and Malaya, are equal partners in the formation of Malaysia.

What? Does this mean that Sabah and Sarawak isn't just a state in Malaysia? That's correct. In fact, Sabah and Sarawak are equals to Malaya. THey are not equals to Selangor, Perak and definitely not Malacca. Many Sabahans and Sarawakians don't know this because the history books in Malaysia try to water-down the significance of this. Why not? The Feds i.e. UMNOputras need to control Sabah and Sarawak. They control the Education Ministry. Education falls under the Federal Govt. And thus, the Federal Government, through the Education Ministry wipes out the political and historical strength of Malaysian Borneo. Only recently when Malaysian Borneo delivered the backbone of Barisan Nasional parliamentary seats have they realized the need to take our views and opinions in regard.

So if I were to be sitting in Musa Aman's seat presumably with Sabahan support, then I would push for my position to be termed 'Prime Minister' instead of 'Chief Minister'. Okay I was kidding, but seriously, I would ensure Sabahan MPs fight for recognition of Sabah and Sarawak in Malaysian history books instead of just trying to drum up pride on things like Ketuanan Melayu-related issues. Perhaps if pushed to the extreme by UMNOputras in the Parliament, I will also push for history books and all relevant textbooks to include the full 20 points agreement which was promised to Sabah. This includes the point that the constitutional clause stating Islam as the official religion in Malaya does not apply to Sabah. In short, Ketuanan Melayu DOES NOT EXIST IN SABAH.

Personally, I don't see it as a big problem in Sabah either since Malays are not the majority in Sabah. Yes, the Muslim Bumiputera population in Sabah is pretty huge but a lot of them are not Melayu. They are Bajaus, Suluks, etc etc. And if you really want to play up the ketuanan issue, then I think the Kadazan-Dusun-Muruts have the most rights to that. But of course Sabahans are all friendly and nice people. We don't really care about racial and religious problems. Orang kita orang Sabah is truly multi-racial so ketuanan doesn't really come up that much. It only happens in West Malaysia where UMNOputras just LOVE to play it up to ignite sentiments. Wave the keris, protesting pig farms although it was the UMNO-led govt which approved, you know those sort of things. Now UMNO has come into Sabah for about roughly more than a decade. Sabahans are worried. We are now subjected to the divide and rule policy as espoused by UMNO so that UMNOputeras can continue to suck our petroleum dry. And now our palm oil too (through FELDA)!

So moving on from fighting for the education of ALL MALAYSIANS on the 20 point agreement, I will also fight to ensure that ketuanan Melayu and other UMNO-related cancers does not creep into the State. To start that of, I will fight to strike off the 'Bangsa' section of ALL forms except for crucial ones such as those related to land.

Okay wait, I havent finished with the 'education' part. Secular and unbiased education shall be available to all Sabahans free up to secondary school if possible. Funds from Yayasan Sabah shall be used to buy milk and provide basic school equipment and stationery to all Sabahans just like in the good ol' days. Education will be my utmost worry for Sabah. Because it is with education that we equip future Sabahans to protect themselves from Malayan colonialism.

Our leaders have done enough to prostitute the State for the benefits of their pockets and have done nothing to improve the education system here. It is now time to fight for our rights. For that to occur, education shall be the key and this will require greater autonomy to be demanded for Sabah education. All Malayan propaganda shall be removed and history books shall include a significant amount of Sabah history. There shall be no bias towards any race or religion and students in Sabah will not be forced to learn in detail a certain civilisation only. Other major civilisations shall be included as well. Pendidikan Moral will be removed and replaced with a more practical civics (only recently did the Malaysian Education MInistry decided to do this). Sabahans will be taught proper manners e.g. not spitting everywhere, keeping toilets clean and dry, charity, basic good and bad. It is only with this kind of education can we produce Sabahan ladies and gentlemen who are respected. It is also with these kind of practical moral education can we start to even think of eradicating corruption.

Teachers are to be well-paid with benefits at the expense of tax-payers. If there are not enough competent teachers, the Government of Sabah under my watch will not hesitate to bring in foreign educators while at the same time establish a good and reliable Teachers' College to replace the ones we have in Sabah because those have been indoctrinated with Malayan propaganda. We will ensure that the stigma of relying on foreign help is removed because only with an open mind can we learn from other people. We must ignore all UMNO propaganda saying the West is evil and that if we seek help from them we are selling ourselves. The Japanese opened up to the West but did not sell themselves. They ended up stronger.

We will send all bright and young students overseas without discriminating them based on race and/or religion. Neither will they be sent overseas on scholarships just because their parents know someone up there. As long as they deserve it, and that they worked hard for it, then they will be on their way to higher education in good and reputable universities. Sabah's education system needs to be rebuilt from the very core. Hopefully with all these new and open education system, the level will improve to that of Singapore, Hong Kong and the likes.

Education is the key to a stronger Sabah in all aspects such as politically, economically etc etc.

In terms of infrastructure, I will spend a lot of money to provide the basics to all Sabahans. Basics meaning clean water, uninterrupted electricity, good roads, and efficient sewerage system. The rest I will leave it to the population of Sabah.

I can go on and on and on dreaming actually. But all these will need a will strong enough to move a nation. And actually all it requires is common sense.

Unfortunately, common sense comes short in this part of the world. Leaders are blinded with greed and corruption. Common sense will tell you that the ACA needs to be independent and not controlled by the PM. Common sense which is from a sincere love for the nation that is. However, our Tun Dr. M obviously doesn't care. All he cares about his power and how to multiply his wealth so he uses the ACA not to weed out corruption but to strengthen his position as PM. I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. Okay let's just focus on Sabah first.

For common sense to prevail over greed, Sabah will have it's own ACA which is independent and answerable to the people of Sabah. It will be something like the ICAC in Hong Kong and will have full powers to weed out corruption in the whole government system.

Lastly before I end this post, I would also say that as the Prime Minister or Chief Minister of Sabah, I will try to lobby for Sabahans such as the AG and Mr. Bocor to step down from their federal positions before they make Sabahans look like uneducated, corrupt and uncivilized barbarians. It is because we have all these people in the Federal Government representing Sabah, the Feds love to play us around because they think Sabahans are stupid like them.

And one final thing. Musa Aman was not chosen by Sabahans to lead Sabah. Musa Aman was chosen by Dr. M who sat quite comfortably in the PM's office at that time. One day, with all the education and political and economical strength, Sabah will finally be able to choose their own leaders again without interference from the Feds and the likes of Dr. M.

We did not lose anything in the Malaysia Agreement but the Federal Government did not fulfill and adhere to the Malaysian Agreement

Has the Federal breached the treaty signed between Sabah, Sarawak and Malaya in 1963 for not fulfilling the contents of the agreement? Up till today peoples of Sabah are still questioning the legality of the Malaysian Agreement 1963 as the clause inside the agreement is drafted to include Singapore and Brunei which saw Singapore was being kicked out and Brunei did not sign the agreement.

One good example ... the appointment of the Chief Minister is always been the prerogative of the State and its pride but now has been lost which we are entitled and adamant to reclaim it back. Point 13 of the Malaysian Agreement stated that “State Government :

a) the Chief Minister should be elected by unofficial members of Legislative Council;

b) There should be a proper Ministerial system in North Borneo”. It was never mentioned nor have/must getting any consent from the state legislative council that the appointment of Chief Minister was the prerogative of the Prime Minister.

In a statement dated July 21 (local daily news), by Datuk Masidi Manjun the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment and also the minister in responsible for the state education has claimed that even our education system has lost its autonomy and urging the Federal to cede some of the education ministry power and for the Sabah State Assembly Speaker, Datuk Seri Salleh Said is talking about giving the state government the education autonomy. Under the 20 points of the Malaysia Agreement 1963, Points 15 read as “The existing educational system of North Borneo should be maintained and for this reason it should be under state control”. It is clearly stated that the education privilege is always under the prerogative and purview of the state since the formation. There is no question of asking, giving and demand but a matter of principle for the Federal to fulfill when it was enshrined under the agreement. This is the very reason why most of the young graduate teachers in Sabah nowadays are deprived from such maintenance, training and recruitments of teachers in job opportunity market. If today, the Federal Government by all means decided to declared that Sabah will be autonomous then Datuk Masidi Manjun will becomes the first Education Minister in Sabah, a local Sabahan himself and at the same time the title hold by Tun Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Juhar Haji Mahiruddin as the Yang – Dipertua Negeri will be uplifted to the highest Yang Di – Pertua Negara and Sabahans will be very much proud and honoured. Point 18 of the Malaysia Agreement read as “The Name of Head of State: Yang Di – Pertua Negara” which means that the title brings to an equal status to the Head of Nation.

I would like to mention also the in July 2011, two Sabahans by the name of Bernard Fung and Nazib Maidan has file a suit against the federal and the state government for failing to fulfill the Borneanisation under Point 8 of the Malaysian Agreement 1963 and it is pending to be heard by the court whether there is a basis. Point 8 read as “Borneanisation: Borneanisation of the public service should proceed as quickly as possible.” It takes a brave heart and patriotic for these two Sabahan in fighting a fair and just for the rest of Sabahans and we owe them for their sacrifices. As I have said earlier, now there are more people educated and aware of how imperative the Malaysia Agreement to be fulfilled by the Federal and let us give our undivided support on their cause because it is we, you and me and all Sabahans to be united and has the duty to protect what is ours failing which Sabahans will be at the losing end.

Perhaps people might forget and lets us refreshed the Sabah state anthem “SABAH TANAH AIRKU”. There is a line number 6 of the song saying “MERDEKA SEPANJANG MASA” and line number 8 “SABAH NEGERI MERDEKA”.

Whether one realize or not these two lines of words are very strong and it means very deep meaning to the patriotic heart of Sabah peoples.

This word brings the meaning that Sabah is an Independence State. If this phrases song are correctly interpreted then Sabah is independence by all respect and aspects and Sabah should have administer and making decision of what is best for itself for the next hundred of years. But what saddening us, for 48 years Federal government still tell us what should and should not be doing by Sabah.

The consequences from this practice in return of all the development is Sabah not only lost its autonomy but lost everything including its land, sea, state wealth natural resources such as oil and gas, timber, oil palm, lost of employment, state revenue and the lists goes on day to day and month to month to outside Sabah which is not benefiting the people as a whole especially poverty is still widely eminent in Sabah compare to the rest of the states in Malaysia.

Dear my respected friends of Sabahan and Sarawakian. I would like to share my latest entry about Sign Petition: Sabah Sarawak Right! to you all. I strongly believe that you all might wonder from where I get the strength and guts to put such a banner and even from my previous entry is all about the fighting for the right and justice to the people of Sabahan and Sarawakian. You might say this word..."Is he so stupid enough to put such entries in his blog?", "Didn't he worried about himself that he might get arrested for this?" and so on... Honestly, I am stupid enough for 48 years letting the current ruling government suppress our right and the people of Sabahan and Sarawakian. Yes, I am worried so much that I might get caught by doing this. But, if I I don't do this, I will be DAMN guilty forever to myself because I knew that my future generation will just face the same problems like now and it might getting very worse during that time.

Now, the people of Sabahan and Sarawakian are getting stronger and unite... They realize that all the problems will never able to solve if Sabah and Sarawak continue staying in Malaysia (even the name "Malaysia" is illegal to be use because the agreement is void. It only valid if Singapore still with us). Remember one thing... The formation of Malaysia was formed through the partnership of 4 countries. Sabah, Sarawak, Singapore and Malaya. Four country agree to get independence in one identity named "Malaysia". But since the Federation of Malaya dismiss Singapore from this formation, the agreement is automatically void and Sabah Sarawak are no longer tied in the formation (this is a FACT). But what happen back then is that we are not been told about this FACT and that's the reason why the federal of malaya will put anyone to ISA if they dare to speak about this fact.

Do we need to worry about Sultan sulu???

Remember my fellow Sabahan and Sarawakian.... They are human too... So do we.. We deserve to have our right back. But they don't... They might say that we do not have right to secede from the federation as mentioned in the 20 points... I will say that... If they didn't adhere the rest of 19 points in the 20 points, then, why do we must obey this one point???

There should be no right to secede from the Federation.

The most important fact is that... This 18/20 points of agreement is no longer valid too... It's only valid if we in the formation of Malaysia... But so far, unofficially, they keep saying that we are still in Malaysia... Okay then... So, this points must be respect and return all the rights to Sabah and Sarawak. And the fact of we are merely as state in Malaysia MUST BE CORRECTED! We are not one of the state in Malaysia... We are one of the country that formed Malaysia! This is what we must tell our people... Educate them and share them about this FACT.

The result of this awareness... A group of Sabahan and Sarawakian people rise up and unite by creating a group in Facebook with the group name called "Sabah & Sarawak Keluar Malaysia". It was created in August 9, 2011 at 3.25pm on Tuesday. It was started with a very small number of members and now it already reached 6000+++ in just within three month. Dear Sabahan and and Sarawakian people... Please do not interpret this group as "Rebel group (kumpulan pemberontak)" or "Separatis group (kumpulan pemisah)" for they are not deserve to be in that category of group. They are NATIONALIST GROUP OF SABAH AND SARAWAK. They are using diplomatic way in solving and fighting this issues. Never cross in their mind to start a war against the Federal. Because WE ARE NOT OWNED BY THEM!

You might get worried that if Sabah and Sarawak secede from Malaysia, Philippine and Indonesia will attack and conquer us. This kind of though is totally wrong! We are former British Crown Colony. Both Sabah and Sarawak except peninsular malaya. Please watch this video

MENANGANI IMPIAN LELUHUR PENDIRI NEGARA

PARADIGMA ringkas ini tentunya bukan rebutan setiap orang untuk membacanya atas dua sebab. Pertama, saya bukan penulis yang ternama dan jauh sekali dari seorang pemikir besar.

Kedua, dimensi Gagasan Idea yang terkandung di dalamnya berkaitan dengan dunia masa depan atau sejarah waktu muka yang akan membentangkan bahawa, merana bakal menghiasi atau mewarnai kehidupan bumiputera Sabah, melainkan Sabahan serentak bangun menangani cabaran kedaulatan 20 Perkara yang menjadi pagar emas autonomi Sabah dalam Malaysia.

Dengan ungkapan lain, konsep kedaulatan Sabah dalam praktikal kenegaraan Malaysia masa kini, jauh sekali dari kebajikan sejati dan kemakmuran hakiki sebagai suatu bangsa yang telah merdeka.

Apatah lagi mencapai Negara Maju seperti Singapura yang serentak dimerdekakan oleh British pada 31 Ogos 1963. Bahkan, regim Melayu UMNO telah menjerumuskan Sabah ke jurang kemiskinan yang nyata.

Yang demikian, penyebab terbesarnya adalah, sikap bumiputera Sabah sendiri yang tidak waspada akan bahaya bersama, khususnya yang berhubung dengan kehancuran perjanjian 20 Perkara; akhirnya tidak bersatu menghadapinya sehingga hak bumiputera Sabah bermasyarakat dan bernegara; sebagai negara yang telah merdeka dan bedaulat gagal dipertahankan; suatu ungkapan kemerdekaan yang terkubur menjadi reput dalam timbunan IC Projek terkutuk Melayu UMNO.

Lantaran itu, Sabah dan Sarawak tiada bukti atau masih tiada identiti sebagai sebuah negara yang telah merdeka dan berdaulat di persada antarabangsa; melainkan sebuah tanah jajahan Malaya yang dikawal sepenuhnya; sama seperti sebelas negeri yang membentuk Persekutuan Malaya.

Apakah ciri dan konsep Sabah sebagai negara yang merdeka dan berdaulat yang saya bayangkan? Secara ringkasnya, negara Sabah yang merdeka; yang saya bayangkan adalah sebuah negara Sabah yang bebas sepenuhnya dari segala campur tangan (intervensi) negara luar atau orang asing.

Merdeka dalam erti kata segala urusan pemerintahan dikuasai sepenuhnya oleh orang tempatan Sabah sebagai sebuah negara yang sudah berdaulat, sebagaimana yang diungkap dengan nyata dalam senikata lagu ‘Sabah Tanah Airku’.

Justeru, apa yang dikatakan sebagai negara Sabah yang sudah berdaulat (sovereign) adalah kedaulatan yang merupakan suatu ciri hakiki kewujudan Sabah sebagai sebuah negara yang bebas, merdeka, berdaulat dan berdikari.

Betapa, negara Sabah yang berdaulat dan berdikari adalah negara Sabah yang mempunyai kuasa mentadbir perihal dirinya tanpa campur tangan negara luar atau orang asing.

Dengan kata lain, negara Sabah yang berdaulat tidak mengakui suatu kekuasaan negara luar atau orang asing sebagai lebih tinggi daripada kekuasaannya sendiri dalam mengaturcara atau menentukan perihal dirinya bernegara sebagai syarat mutlak bagi terciptanya sebuah masyarakat Sabah yang teratur, berbudaya dan beridentiti sendiri di persada antarabangsa.

Malangnya, pengamal politik di Sabah pasca merdeka, bukan sahaja menunjukkan sikap pongah dalam transisi kerajaan baru; yang baru dibentuk, bahkan menghina dan melupakan pengorbanan leluhur pendiri Negara Sabah.

Akhirnya, seluruh generasi pasca merdeka berfikiran seakan tidak perlu setia kepada cita-cita leluhur dan dokumen-dokumen yang dirumuskan oleh negarawan yang membentuk Negara Sabah dalam Konfederasi Malaysia.

Sesungguhnya, sudah tiba waktunya buat bumiputera Sabah memilih jalan sejarah yang lebih baik, mempertahan dan melanjutkan pemberian berharga pendiri Negara Sabah, mendaulatkan gagasan mulia yang mereka rumuskan dari generasi ke generasi berikutnya.

Betapa pendiri Negara Sabah, mereka telah mengusung kita di atas jalan berbatu-batu menuju kemakmuran dan kebebasan di era pemerintahan mereka melalui tiga jalur pengorbanan yang nyata.

1. Demi kita, pendiri Negara Sabah telah berulang-alik ke London dan keluar masuk parlimen British untuk menuntut kemerdekaan Negara Sabah.

2. Demi kita, pendiri Negara Sabah telah bersengkang mata dan berhempas pulas merangka dan merumus 20 Perkara yang mendasari bentuk Negara Sabah dalam gagasan Konfederasi Malaysia.

3. Demi kita, ramai keluarga pendiri Negara Sabah yang bertempur dan terkorban, di pihak tentera Australia dan New Zealand (Sanzac) melawan tentera Jepun di era Perang Dunia Ke-2.

Justeru, demi harapan dan kebajikan, bumiputera Sabah patut bersatu secara kolektif dan holistik menghadapi bersama kesuraman dan kemuraman yang melanda landskap politik, ekonomi dan pendidikan yang menjadi hak mutlak bumiputera Sabah dalam gagasan Konfederasi Malaysia.

Sabah dan Sarawak adalah dua buah negara yang telah merdeka dan berdaulat pada 1963. Oleh yang demikian, warga Malaya yang masuk ke Sabah dan Sarawak wajib menggunakan pasport.

Dengan kata lain, status Sabah dan Sarawak tidak sama dengan status sebelas negeri Tanah Melayu yang membentuk Persekutuan Malaya atau ‘Federation of Malaya’. Oleh itu, status Sabah, Sarawak dan Malaya yang membentuk Malaysia adalah Konfederasi Malaysia atau ‘Confederation of Malaysia’.

Konsep negara konfederasi adalah gabungan beberapa buah negara yang merdeka dan berdaulat melalui dokumen pemerintahan bersama menerusi perjanjian yang saling mematuhinya.

Contohnya, perjanjian 20 Perkara yang mendasari pembentukan Malaysia. Adapun, perbezaan negara federal dengan negara konfederasi adalah kemerdekaan dan kedaulatan negara-negara yang bergabung di dalamnya.

Konsep negara federal tidak terbentuk atau dibentuk dari gabungan negara-negara yang sudah merdeka dan berdaulat sebelumnya. Contohnya, sebelas buah negeri Tanah Melayu yang membentuk Persekutuan Malaya yang dimasyhurkan kemerdekaannya pada 31 Ogos 1957 secara serentak.

Dengan kata lain, Persekutuan Malaya tidak dibentuk oleh beberapa buah negara yang sudah mencapai kemerdekaan dan kedaulatan yang berasingan sebelumnya.

Oleh sebab itu, konsep kenegaraan Malaysia adalah negara konfederasion, lantaran ianya dibentuk atas nama gabungan Sabah, Sarawak dan Malaya menjadi ‘Malaysia’ yang telah sama-sama merdeka dan berdaulat secara berasingan sebelumnya.

Justeru, tata hukum negara konfederasi tidak mengikat seluruh warganegaranya dalam satu bentuk undang-undang, melainkan undang-undang yang telah dipersetujui atau disepakati bersama. Demikian penjelasan wikipedia tentang konsep negara konfederasi.

“Under international law, a confederation respects the sovereignty of its members and its constituting treaty can only be changed by unanimous agreement. A confederation in modern political terms is a permanent union of sovereign states for common action in relation to other states.

Usually created by treaty but often later adopting a common constitution, confederations tend to be established for dealing with critical issues such as defence, foreign affairs, or a common currency, with the central government being required to provide support for all members.

The nature of the relationship among the states constituting a confederation varies considerably. Likewise, the relationship between the member states and the central government, and the distribution of powers among them, is highly variable. Some looser confederations are similar to intergovernmental organizations, while tighter confederations may resemble federations…”

Sedia maklum bahawa, Malaysia wujud melalui perjanjian yang ditandatangani oleh para negarawan yang terlibat pada 9 Julai 1963 di parlimen British. Semenjak dunia purba hingga ke era moden, sebarang perjanjian wajib ditaati, jika tidak, kamus sejarah meriwayatkan bahawa, ia boleh mencetuskan badai kemarahan dan mungkin berakhir dengan peperangan. Yang demikan, Sabah memerlukan negarawan standard antarabangsa yang bukan sekadar menjadi talibarut kepada Melayu UMNO!

Malaysia mendakwa sebagai negara pengamal demokrasi. Demokrasi dalam kerangka yang luas pernah memberikan keagungan tamadun ilmu kepada Yunani, maka lahirlah ungkapan abadi, “Beri aku tempat untuk berdiri, dan aku akan mengubah dunia” (Archimedes: 287-212sm).

Namun, tatkala Yunani terlanjur diperintah oleh penzalim, lantas Yunani musnah sepenuhnya dan yang tinggal kini hanya tamadun ilmu mereka dalam bentuk falsafah yang menjadi produk di era keemasan demokrasinya.

Sehubungan dengannya, warga Malaysia amnya, dan warga Sabah khususnya, adalah lebih bermoral kiranya, jika secara jujur mengamalkan demokrasi tanpa penipuan dan pembohongan. Biarlah generasi waktu muka berkata bahawa, generasi masa kini telah diuji dan menolak untuk mengakhiri pengembaraan mempertahankan destinasi kedaulatan 20 Perkara.

Bumiputera Sabah juga jangan mundur dari matlamat meneruskan anugerah kemerdekaan Sabah dalam konsep negara konfederasi Malaysia dan menghantarkannya dengan selamat buat generasi masa depan.

Saya faham bahawa, paradigma ini belum lengkap atau sempurna dalam usaha memberi gambaran jelas tentang konsep negara konfederasion. Namun begitu, memadailah untuk menjadi sandaran asas oleh para politikus atau cendekiawan Sabah untuk menghuraikannya secara lebih mendalam dan ilmiah demi faedah bersama Sabahan.

Dengan ungkapan lain, paradigma ringkas tentang konsep negara konfederasion ini, biarlah dilengkapkan atau disempurnakan oleh para pengamal politik Sabah kini dan seterusnya!

Good afternoon all Honourable Members of the House, ladies and gentlemen.

First of all, I would like to record our most sincere gratitude having been given this honour of presenting this memorandum before this esteemed House. Today, marks a moment of honour for the people of Sabah, the former North Borneo, for having been accorded this rare opportunity to present a Memorandum a matter of grave significance, a matter which affect our fate as the people of the Federation of Malaysia. We see this as a historical event, a moment granted by God’s grace, in which we can communicate under this honourable roof, to reminisce a milestone of history half a century ago which was followed by sad events that in too many instances happened with numerous misgivings.

For decades now, we the people of Sabah, have been haunted by ghosts of history dating back to August 31, 1963, the day we gained independence from Great Britain. Malaysia was conceptualised and constituted with the best of promises, endearing in us hopes and dreams for a greater future. It is with sadness that I stand here to witness that what had transpired since September 16, 1963 had been a series of events that had led us to the present situation in which we can justly proclaim to be a situation of shattered hopes and broken dreams!

We therefore stand before this House, in good faith, to seek redress and to appeal for an inclusive dialogue, which we hope will lead to a clearer and brighter tomorrow to all parties concerned. I seek the indulgence of this House to hear our side of the story and adjudge the events of the past with a clear conscience and a sympathetic eye, and to lend us a hand in seeking a just and righteous solution to our problem.

I would like to present three pertinent issues, which may or may not have direct concern of the present British government. Firstly, we need to take a critical review of the rationales and instruments for the formation of Malaysia. There is the nagging question of justice in the drafting of the critical Malaysia Agreement, the efficiency and integrity off the Cobbold Commission, the reliability of the promises of the Twenty Points, the Inter governmental Committee Report and the Malaysian Act, historical documents which must be familiar to the knowledge of the Honourable Lawmakers in this House. Secondly, is the perennial issue of security which now affect the sovereignty of Sabah within Malaysia. And thirdly is the case of the spiraling deterioration in the economic wellbeing of the people of Sabah.

Sabah’s Expectations of Malaysia vs Reality and the Malaysian Agreement

The facts of history is that Sabah, a former British colony, achieved its independence on August 31st, 1963. On September 16, 1963, it merged with Malaya, Singapore and Sarawak to form the Federation of Malaysia on terms agreed by all parties. The concept of merger and equal partnership was introduced by Tunku Abdul Rahman to allay fears in Sabah and Sarawak of the possibility of Malaya recolonizing them upon the departure of the British masters.

The terms of this Federation are contained in various documents such as the Twenty Points, the IGC report and of course the Malaysia Agreement, which on paper protected the interests of Sabah and Sarawak within this new Federation so that they do not lose their autonomy in certain areas of governance which gave meanings and substances to their independence.

Without doubt, this was the expressed hope of the founding fathers, principally Tunku Abdul Rahman, the first Prime Minister of Malaysia; Lee Kuan Yew, the former Prime Minister of Singapore, Donald Stephens and Mustapha Harun of Sabah, Stephen Kalong Ningkan of Sarawak, etc. Independent speeches were delivered by various leaders including Razak, Tun Mustapha, Donald Stephens and Sir William Goode to during the historic celebration of Sabah’s nationhood. I present several quotes from them below:

“Today, is a historic day for Sabah. It marks the beginning of self-government and independence and the end of colonialism.” ~ Sir William Goode, outgoing Governor of North Borneo (Sabah Times, Jesselton, August 1, 1963)

The Tunku naturally uttered several historic statements on the matter:

“The granting of self-government too would enable Sabah to stand on its own feet as equal with Malaya, Sarawak and Singapore.” (Sabah Times, Jesselton, August 30th, 1963)

“The important aspects of the Malaysia Ideal, as I see it, is that it will enable the Borneo territories to transform their present colonial status to ‘self government’ for themselves and absolute independence in Malaysia simultaneously…”

“The days of imperialism are gone and it is not the intention of Malaya to perpetuate or revive them. When the Borneo territories become part of Malaysia, they will cease to be a colony of Malaya, they will be partners of equal status, no more or less than the *other States.” (Strait Times, October 2nd 1962)

*The “other States” refer to the other States entities of Malaya, Singapore and Sarawak.

Today, more than forty six years after independence, the people of Sabah are asking what happened to these rosy pronouncements and assurances. In fact the Sabahans have always been seriously clarification as to why Sabah is now functioning as if it is only a colony of Kuala Lumpur. Many still remember the warnings given by former Indonesian president Sukarno, who said that Malaysia will not change colonialism but will only shift its headquarters from London to Kuala Lumpur. Has Sukarno’s prophecy come true today?

Tunku Abdul Rahman kept assuring us that Sabah was now independent; that it was no longer a colony and that Sabah will have its” absolute independence” in Malaysia. What Tunku Abdul Rahman said was exactly what we expected Sabah to gain and benefit from being part of the Federation, i.e. being a fully autonomous state within the Federation. But contrary to that promise, the reality today is that Sabah has become the 12th state of Malaya. Federal government leaders, dominated by Malayans, today can arbitrarily change, at their whims and fancies, whatever they wish to suit their needs and convenience. They even ignored the Twenty Points and the Malaysia Agreement and made it sensitive to even talk about them.

The Problem of the Illegal and Legalised Immigrants in Sabah

About half of Sabah’s population of 3.25 million today are foreigners. Out of this number, 750,000 are undocumented or without travel documents or work passes. Dr Chong Eng Leong paper, “Human Rights and Citizenship: Its impact on Economics, Social and Cultural Rights,” presented at the SUHAKAM Roundtable Discussion on July 31, 2006 refers.

Of these, 60,000 are categorized as refugees and about 153,000 to 418,000 are those supposedly given work passes. In addition there are those with false documents but over and above these numbers are the 600,000 who have been given genuine Malaysian identity cards or MyKads by higher authority under “Projek IC Mahathir” (Dr. Chong Eng Leong, Ibid.)

The most serious and obvious injustices inflicted upon Sabah is the deployment of non-citizen to become voters, thereby depriving citizens of the right to democracy and self-determination. The main category of foreign voters comprise the 600,000 who have been given Mykads, under “Projek IC Mahathir.” This project was widely debated in the local papers in 2006. A witness to a trial on an election dispute confessed in court to possessing a dubious identity card, telling the magistrate that he obtained his IC through “Projek President Mahathir.” This evidence was never contested, and nor has there been any denial form the former Prime Minister.

Security and Sovereignty

Most of these foreigners come from a neighbouring country (the Philippines) which, incidently, has yet to drop its territorial claim over Sabah. By the sheer number of the illegals from the Philippines alone, with their settlements surrounding all the major cities and towns, this claim could be easily legitimized. Sabah is now a haven for escaping terrorists, rebels and kidnappers. JI or Jemaah islamiyah, a terror network, has been identified as having its presence in Sabah. So is Darul Islam Sabah. Hence, with the presence of armed foreigners on our soil, Sabah is no longer a secure state.

This begs the question: Where is the security that the founding fathers of Malaysia had promised us? With the explicit support of Great Britain, we had been hard-pressed to join in the formation of Malaysia, in the name of security from Indonesia’s Confrontation and Phillippines’ claim. But as it turned out, today Brunei, which opted out following a rebellion, and Singapore which was later expelled, are doing so much better. There is therefore no denying that Brunei had been far-sighted, and Singapore had been ironically blessed by its expulsion.

Reverse Take

Over As the number of non-citizens are now rapidly outnumbering the local population in some areas (Dr Jeffery Kitingan, Justice for Sabah, Table 4.1), it is merely a matter of time for this foreign population to spread and overwhelm the whole of Sabah. SUHAKAM’s former Commissioner, Prof. Hamdan Adnan, once said that a foreigner reverse takeover is imminent if the trend continues unabated.

Poverty

Sabah is a rich state endowed with much natural resources such as oil and gas, timber, fertile agricultural land and tourism potentials. With a population of just about three million, Sabah offers abundant promises for vibrant economic development and enviable prosperity. Unfortunately, Sabah today is the poorest state in Malaysia (according to the government’s Malaysia Plan Report). Most of Sabah’s timber has already been harvested without any heed to sustainable supply management, and over eighty percent of the agricultural land develop for oil palm belong to corporate giants owned by west Malaysian companies. Ironically, Sabah is Malaysia’s largest oil palm producer with 60% of the nation’s palm oil being produced in Sabah. Sabah is also one of three Malaysia’s oil producing states, producing more than 73,000 barrels of crude petroleum per day. Why then is Sabah poor and financially dependent on the federal government? The answer is simple: It is either that Sabah is not getting its fair share of its own wealth or is the victim of mismanagement, or both. UNDP (United Nation Development Program) put the State poverty rate at 24.3% of the population.

Poorest State

Sabah, once the richest state in Malaysia, is now the poorest. Most of the poor are Natives in the rural areas, including paddy farmers, fishermen and smallholders. The state government of Sabah has one of the highest budget deficit in the country amounting RM252.89 million (2006). With a population of 3.25 million, its per capita income currently stands at RM9,536 compared to RM18,040 for Malaysia. This show a huge disparity with Sabah’s per capita income way, way below the national standard. Where do our riches go to? To be exact: to the Federal Government. Sabah can never be rich as long as our State cake” is continuously divided into thirteen.

Oil Revenue

Oil and gas belong to the state but in 1976 the federal government made the state surrender this state resource to a central government agency, PETRONAS. It is said that that the “Double Six” Tragedy (airplane crash at Sembulan which killed senior Sabah cabinet members, including the then Chief Minister Tun Fuad Stephens, the former Donald Stephens) was the result of the refusal by Stephens to sign away Sabah’s oil right in Labuan then. Soon after Tun Fuad’s funeral, Harris Salleh signed the agreement. In return the state gets only 5% of the oil revenue. Why? Why do we get only 5% of the revenue from oil, when in the first place, it is a state resource? Who gets the other 95%? How much revenue earnings have been generated from Sabah’s oil and gas, including their by-products?

Felda and Felcra

Land given out to Felda and Felcra by the State Government for the purpose of development assistance to the landless local was never implemented. According to the former Chief Minister, Harris Salleh, 300,000 hectares have been given to Felda/Felcra for this purpose. We know of no one Sabahan having benefited, although perhaps there may be a few. So who are the rest of the beneficiaries? Who is reaping the oil palm harvest from our land? Obviously, justice must be served. And these lands must revert back to the State Government and their utilisation reviewed as part of our economic revival and poverty eradication programmes.

Political

The enormous political implications of the non-citizens currently holding citizens’ identity cards are mind boggling. It is frightening to contemplate the ramifications of the fact that they can vote, as they have been recruited and mobilised by certain political leaders in the BN (the Barisan Nasional or National Front) ruling coalition. In fact most of these “voters for hire” have been recruited as members of UMNO (the United Malay National Organisation), the backbone of the BN.

Even a fellow BN member had openly admitted that illegals could be in BN parties. Chin Su Ling, Youth Chief of the Liberal Democratic Party, a component of the BN said there is a possibility that many illegal immigrants have become members of various BN component Sabah. (Borneo Post, Tuesday, September 19th, 2006). These foreigners may just be “voters for hire” at present but once they can organize themselves, they could be in a position to control Sabah UMNO and elect their own representatives into the State Assembly and Parliament. Once this is achieved they could take over the government and change the rules of the game in their favour. This is not impossible.

How did Sabah’s population grow so fast? Are we more fertile than Sarawak or the peninsular? NO! The high growth in Sabah’s population is explained by the high arrivals of foreigners, many of whom were later exploited to become voters through the “Project IC.” Worse, these foreigners who obtained MyKads through the backdoor also claim to be Bumiputeras (sons of the soil). They are in fact The New Bumiputeras! These new “natives” are now the same number as the natives!

Source of Socio-economic Problems

This large foreign population in Sabah also presents a heavy drain on the economy and social services fund. One estimate puts this cost to the State between RM271 million to RM811 million a year. They also take away from the local quota for education in schools and institutions of higher learning. They use a lot of medical facilities and health care services and encroach onto natives lands, producing squatter colonies. They also rely on low cost housing schemes provided by the government. They are also involved in drugs. According to the police, 90% of drugs are from the Philippines. They steal water and electricity through illegal connections and pollute the environment. Employment wise, many illegals are now running taxis, mini buses as drivers.

Conclusion

The root cause of Sabah’s dilemma is the fact that the Inter-Governmental Committee Report had failed to ensure Malaysian Government compliance with the Malaysia Agreement on a continuous basis. Various ‘modification’ and ‘adjustments’ had been surreptitiously inserted into the national governance mechanism which had trapped us into subservience and compliance and in the process eroding much of our rights and privileges.

The IGC must be revived and the United Kingdom, along with Singapore, Sarawak, Sabah and Malaya (the Federal Government), must play an active role as sympathetic and just former master to institute effective and enduring rectifications. This is the least that we can ask for. This is also the way forward. The United Kingdom is the first stop in our mission to revive the IGC. Efforts are also being made at this material time in Kuala Lumpur by Dr Jeffrey Gapari Kitingan, the chairman of the Common Interest Group Malaysia (Cigma) to seek the same redress and review of the terms of independence And formation of the Federation of Malaysia. Likewise we are mobilising a similar mission to Singapore prior to seeking a dialogue with the Sabah and Sarawak State Governments on the same issue.

With respect and reverence we lay our hopes and desires before this honourable House for a redirection of the negative trends that beset us in Borneo, in the full confidence that a vehicle to the future can be chartered for justice and truth, to pick up the pieces of the shattered hopes and broken dreams.

Jeffrey's experience of the ISA

WHEN former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad applauded Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's proposal to abolish the ISA, he described the ISA as "not too cruel".

But Jeffrey Kitingan recalls a very different scenario in Mahathir's office in January 1994 upon his release from ISA detention.

Mahathir apparently said then, "I am sorry about the detention, Jeffrey, I know it is cruel." "The cruelty of ISA is immeasurable," Jeffrey says.

Recalling the details of his arrest, Jeffrey said he had to sign a letter the police had given him at the Tambunan Ka'amatan (Harvest Festival) on 10 May 1991 in the presence of some 200 FRU personnel, who left immediately after he signed it.

On 13 May 1991, he presented himself at the Karamunsing police station and was arrested on the spot and sent to the Kepayan detention centre.

That same afternoon he was flown to Kuala Lumpur on a MAS flight with only himself and Special Branch officers as passengers.

That evening, the plane was not permitted to land at the Kuala Lumpur airport and he ended up being flown to Penang to spend the entire night in a cell. The next morning, he was flown back to KL. Upon landing, he was blindfolded and shoved into a black maria.

"At that moment, I lost sight of the world and my material life, not knowing where they were taking me and what they were going to do with me. I was glad to still be breathing," said Jeffrey.

Hours later, the vehicle arrived at a building and his blindfold was taken off. He was ordered to strip naked and remove every item, including his watch. "I felt ashamed," he says, "and felt ready to be wrapped up for my own funeral."

Given a blue uniform with the number "931" on the left side of his chest, Jeffrey's photographs were taken at various angles before he was locked up in a maximum security cell. "As the door shut behind me, I found myself confined to what can be described as a living hell to what seems forever."

Jeffrey was thrown into his cell in the first 60 days.

He was accused of subversive political activities.

In that cold, bare room with nothing but an empty, solid wooden bed measuring about 2 1/2 feet wide, there was no mattress, blanket, pillow, toilet, sink, water or window. There was a small peephole on the door that you could only look through from the outside and two holes on the floor the size of a chicken egg for ventilation.

The room was so small that he would pace up and down and see only walls and felt no different to a caged animal. "That's how I realised how animals in a zoo behave when they're deprived of their freedom."

The lights were uncommonly bright and never, ever switched off.

Occasionally, loud music would suddenly be played to shock him and he was deprived of his sleep.

"The toilet was at the other end of the building and if they don't hear you knock you end up sleeping in a cell with your urine and faeces everywhere.

I had to clean up my own waste with nothing but the newspaper they gave to wrap up my faeces." There were no facilities for bathing and there were no towels. "We just had the toilet", he said.

This method of sensory deprivation was a living nightmare and the detainee would be denied any sense of time or conscious connection with the outside world. "I felt lost, I felt alone and I felt abandoned even by my own God.

I tried talking to myself just to hear my own voice. Where am I?

Who am I? Am I dead or just dreaming? I even tried to sing.

In the first week, I blamed God and scolded him. What did I do wrong?

After one week, I thanked him for giving me the opportunity to experience this."

Not knowing whether he was dead or alive or in some terrible dream, Jeffrey endured 60 days of this repetitive nightmare. Yet, it was his imagination that kept him sane. "I had to hold on to reality by creating patterns in my mind with my meals. Wrapped in plastic and newspaper, the rice was always wet and sometimes I had one fish and maybe six strands of beansprouts. I saw patterns in my food. I would look at the walls and sometimes it felt like patterns would fly out of the wall and come to life."

In a solitary world where he could not experience a 24 hour cycle of being alive and being asleep, he managed to count his days and nights.

"To have some sense of time and give or take a margin of 3 to 4 days inaccuracy, I could determine how long I was in there by scratching the wall surface each time the rat comes through the hole in the ground or whenever my meal was delivered."

He went through a terrifying interrogation ordeal that was tame in comparison to what he heard the other detainees had to go through.

"Some of them said they went through physical torture.

I must have been one of the lucky ones. The first time they interrogated me I had to sit on a red stool in a dark red room with eight nameless interrogators who humiliated and insulted me as if I was a condemned, worthless criminal ready to be sent to hell.

They did this non-stop and deprived me of rest, sleep, food and water till I could no longer bear it and asked to see a doctor."

Jeffrey felt himself growing weaker, rapidly losing weight and his beard began to grow. He was eventually sent to the doctor in a blindfold with two men holding up his frail body. He was given vitamins and told to sit in the sunlight for twenty minutes. It was only after his recovery that he was told the interrogation took 4 days and 3 nights.

After two months of solitary confinement, Jeffrey was hoping for his release and was told that if he was taken to the airport he would be a free man. He was taken instead to Kamunting Detention Camp and spent the next 2 1/2 years detained without trial.

"You don't go straight to Kamunting. You go into an empty building somewhere on transit with hardly anybody around. I was then transferred to Camp 5 in Kamunting. That would be the time you're given a pillow and a blanket. Those are the only possessions. It's worse than being a convict.

The camp had maximum security and was an U-shaped building, I remember, with a barb-wired security fence as high as 12 to 15 feet, reinforced by zinc and cement so that you could not see the outside world.

You could only see the sky. They locked us up at night and opened the cells in the morning; like a chicken coop."

Kamunting had open areas for inmates to play sports but their footballs would burst against the wired fence. They bathed communally and they would poke and shove one another for soap and hassled to hurry.

Every week, they would assemble to raise the Malaysian flag and sing the national anthem and recite the "Rukun Negara". Their library was filled with propaganda materials and was uninspiring.

Jeffrey wrote books, poems and read voraciously. His family would post all the reading materials he requested. He learnt meditation and practised yoga, teaching taekwondo to communist detainees. They, in turn, taught him Chi Kung.

"The inmates were high tensioned people; communists, terrorists, political detainees, spies, immigration fraudsters. An accidental knock in the playground would end up in fights. In the TV room, they argued all the time. The Indians would want to watch the Hindi movies, the Malays their dramas. I saw all sorts of people, especially the vengeful, dangerous types who vent their anger on other inmates. I believe these types would always keep their anger inside, even after their release. Yet, there were 'happy-go-lucky' types who would kill time by talking forever or giving others a massage."

He remembered the paranoia they developed through whispering campaigns where some detainees were believed to be spies from the Special Branch. The inmates even became possessive over photos and pictures of women pasted on the table.

They engaged in manual labour by cleaning the compound, cutting the grass, doing domestic chores and cleaning the toilets. They took turns to cook and followed the roster quite diligently although the only delicacy they enjoyed was the odd snake or bird caught in the compound.

When the authorities found out about the addition of wildlife in their diet, the roster was changed and they had to eat "institutionalised, prisoner's food" that had no variety and was only adequate to prevent starvation.

The inmates would rather be sick in the detention camp than face the humiliation of being handcuffed to their beds in the hospitals.

A lot of them went mad and tried to commit suicide, banging their heads violently on the floors, especially if they knew that their term would be extended. "They would rather die than spend another day inside", Jeffrey says.

In his mind, Jeffrey believes that ISA gave him a greater insight into human nature.

"I survived by playing the role of a researcher," he says.

"I studied and observed the behaviour of detainees in confinement. Somehow, by taking on the role of a healer and friend I managed to remove myself mentally from the situation."

Jeffrey's diaries were confiscated and the letters he sent and received were screened. "I wrote a letter in Dusun once and the officer couldn't understand it and sent it through. The letter caused a demonstration at home because it told of my experience. The officer was promptly replaced."

Released with conditions in January 1994, Jeffrey was told not to be involved in politics and organisations and remembered Mahathir telling him not to teach the people what they don't know.

"This must be the attitude; to keep the people ignorant," he says.

He remains resolute in his political drive to abolish all legislation deemed to be an affront of human and civil rights and tows that fine line of risks which many fear to tread.

"Behind the negative is the positive," he says calmly.

"In that situation, I couldn't see the world with my eyes so I travelled with my mind and learnt to function through my spirit.

The development of this mental vision is where I began to truly understand myself and I found solutions to many outstanding problems which were recorded in my writings and letters.

KENAPA PERJANJIAN MALAYSIA PERLU DIKAJI SEMULA?

PERJANJIAN Malaysia adalah satu perjanjian yang terikat yang telah ditnadatangani oleh beberapa perwakilan daripada lima pihak iaitu United kingdom of Great Britain, dan Ireland Utara, Persekutuan Malaya, Borneo Utara (Sabah), Sarawak dan Singapura.

Objektif utama perjanjian tersebut adalah berhubung dengan pembentukan Persekutuan Malaysia di antara Malaya, Borneo Utara (Sabah), Sarawak dan Singapura sebagai rakan kongsi yang sama.

Kemasukan United Kingdom sebagai satu gabungan dan penandatangan terhadap perjanjian tersebut adalah sebagai bapa penjaga terutama bagi Negeri-negeri Borneo Sabah dan Sarawak dan juga Negeri Singapura dimana kedaulatan dan bidang kuasa masih berkuat kuasa.

Ia juga boleh dikatakan bahawa United Kingdom adalah satu-satunya permerhati utama terhadap perjanjian tersebut untuk melihat apabila penyerahan terakhir kedaulatan dan bidang kuasa terhadap Sabah, Sarawak dan Negeri Singapura supaya syarat utama, seperti ‘20 perkara’ hak perlindungan Sabah yang mana dipersetujui untuk disekutukan dengan Malaya bagi membentuk Persekutuan Malaysia dapat diperhatikan, digabungkan, dilaksanakan dan dihormati.

Perjanjian Malaysia digabungkan dengan berbagai-bagai dokumen (seperti yang terkandung) termasuklah Rang Undang-Undang Malaysia, kini ialah Akta Malaysia 1963. Gabungan dokumen-dokumen ini termasuklah syarat penyertaan dan peraturan perlembagaan terhadap Sabah dan Sarawak dirujuk untuk membentuk Malaysia.

Perjanjian Malaysia juga mesti tertakluk kepada kemahuan penandatangan sebelum keputusan muktamad dipersetujui. Hasrat tersebut termasuklah pengetahuan keempat-empat penandatangan perjanjian tersebut iaitu Persekutuan Malaya, Sabah, Sarawak dan Singapura sewaktu membentuk Malaysia sebagai rakan kongsi yang sama.

Oleh itu, Malaysia telah disifatkan oleh berbagai pihak sebagai satu gabungan bagi rakan-rakan kongsi bersama-sama bersatu padu untuk membentuk sebuah Negara baru tetapi dengan cirri-ciri masing-masing.

Apabila Singapura telah dikeluarkan daripada Persekutuan Malaysia pada tahun 1965, persoalan yang terus bangkit ialah apa telah terjadi dengan Perjanjian Malaysia yang telah ditandatangani oleh semua pihak.

Ketiadaan Singapura secara langsung telah mengakibatkan perjanjian perlembagaan tersebut termasuklah kedudukan Perlembagaan Sabah dan Sarawak di dalam Persekutuan Malaysia.

Perjanjian Malaysia adalah tidak sah lagi dan dari segi undang-undang Persekutuan Malaysia adalah tidak sah kerana pembuangan Singapura iaitu salah satu penandatangan terhadap perjanjian di atas yang mana telah mengakibatkan asal-usul Persekutuan itu sendiri.

Samada Perjanjian Malaysia atau Perlembagaan Persekutuan Malaysia tidak menyediakan terhadap pembuangan mana-mana rakan kongsi di dalam Persekutuan Malaysia.

Adakah Perdana Menteri atau Parlimen Malaysia mempunyai kuasa untuk mengeluarkan Singapura tidak seharusnya berdasarkan kepada resolusi dalam Parlimen Malaysia dimana membenarkan (sepatutnya tidak) kesemua 104 Ahli-ahli Parlimen dari kesebelasan (11) Negeri-negeri Malaya untuk menentukan, yang mana ini adalah bertentangan dengan kumpulan minority iaitu 36 Ahli-ahli Parlimen dari Sabah dan Sarawak.

Walaupun Sabah dan Sarawak tidak bersetuju dengan pembuangan tersebut (yang mana diragui sama ada mereka diberi peluang sedemikian) Negeri-negeri Malaya masih dapat memperolehi 2/3 majoriti atau lebih bagi membuat keputusan terhadap Sabah dan Sarawak yang tidak bersetuju tentang pembuangan adalah satu kehampaan.

Kesebelasan buah negeri-negeri Malaya tidak harus mempunyai hak samada Singapura boleh atau tidak dikeluarkan daripada Persekutuan Malaysia. Ini disebabkan Negara Malaysia tidak dibentuk oleh negeri-negeri tersebut sahaja.

Melalui Perjanjian Malaysia, setiap negeri yang menandatangani Perjanjian tersebut adalah sebagai pasangan (partner) yang mempunyai hak-hak yang sama. Mereka telah membentuk Malaysia bersama-sama dengan Singapura, Sabah dan Sarawak.

Oleh sebab keempat-empat buah negeri penandatangan Perjanjian Malaysia telah menandatanganiperjanjian itu sebagai pasangan persendirian dan bebas daripada ahli yang lain (pasangan bebas) makan adalah sesuai, bahawa setiap penandatangan itu mempunyai undi yang sama (iaitu satu undi setiap negeri) untuk menentukan samada sesebuah negeri itu harus dikeluarkan daripada Persekutuan Malaysia.

Penyertaan itu boleh dibuat melalui ketua pemimpin negeri masing-masing. Dalam hal ini, setiap negeri Malaya tidak seharusnya mempunyai hak atau kuasa untuk menentukan nasib Singapura dalam Persekutuan Malaysia. Kerana mereka hanya mempunyai hak satu undi sahaja sepertimana yang telah ditentukan oleh Persekutuan Malaysia, Sabah dan Sarawak juga mempunyai satu undi tiap-tiap satu.

Pandangan ini selaras dengan status mereka sebagai penandatangan Perjanjian Malaysia yang bebas dan sebagai persendirian.

Dengan itu, keputusan untuk mengeluarkan Singapura daripada Persekutuan Malaysia, seharusnya terletak kepada ketiga-tiga penandatangan Perjanjian tersebut, iaitu setiap satu pasanganpenandatangan mempunyai hak atau kuasa mengundi yang sama.

Penyingkiran Singapura telah memberikan kesan kepada satu perkara yang mustahak dimana Sabah dan Sarawak telah benar-benar merundingkannya sebelum mereka bersetuju untuk membentuk Malaysia.

Oleh itu, kegagalan untuk meminta persetujuan daripada Sabah dan Sarawak telah memberikan kesan kepada perwakilan mereka dalam Dewan Parlimen. Misalnya, untuk membuat pindaan terhadap apa sahaja keistimewaan khas (terutama sekali 20 Perkara) yang diberikan kepada Sabah sepertimana yang termaktub dalam Perlembagaan Persekutuan, Parlimen hendaklah mendapat sokongan undi dua pertiga daripada ahli-ahli Parlimen.

Sebenarnya, sebelum penyingkiran Singapura, kesemua ahli dari Semenanjung Malaysia tidak boleh membentuk dua pertiga majoriti, kecuali mendapat sokongan daripada Sabah, Sarawak atau Singapura. Walaubagaimanapun, setelah Singapura disingkir, tidak lagi perlu bagi Semenanjung

Malaysia untuk mendapat sokongan daripada Sabah dan Sarawak sebab mereka sekarang boleh mendapat sokongan dua pertiga atau lebih di Dewan Parlimen.

Ini bermakna, mereka dengan mudah membuat pindaan atau penggubalan Perlembagaan bila-bila masa mereka suka.

“Dengan penyingkiran SIngapura maka kembalilah komposisi monopoli etnik Melayu Semenanjung. Episode ini adalah satu bukti yang jelas kegagalan Sistem Persekutuan dan perpaduan Negara.” (rujukan: “Reflection on the Malaysia Constitution” oleh Shafruddin Hashim dalam ALIRAN 1986.

Oleh Sebab inilah seharusnya terdapat penyemakan atau penelitian syarat-syarat kemasukan Sabah dan Sarawak ke Malaysia. Namun, sabah telah tidak diberitahu semasa Singapura telah dikeluarkan dari Persekutuan Malaysia.

Kegagalan untuk mendapat persetujuan atau memberitahu Sabah itu dengan sendirinya telah melanggar Perjanjian Malaysia, dimana Sabah telah diketepikan untuk mengambil bahagian dalam Malaysia dimana ia sendiri adalah rakan kongsi yang sama.

Perbincangan mengenai penyingkiran Singapura adalah sangat mustahak bagi Sabah kerana Lee KuanYew lah yang telah bertungkus lumus untuk mengambil hati pemimpin-pemimpin Borneo dengan tujuan supaya mereka akan menyertai pembentukan Persekutuan Malaysia.

Pada waktu perhimpunan Persatuan Ahli-ahli Parlimen Komanwealth di Singapura pada Julai, 1961, pemimpin Borneo (Tidak ada British yang hadir) telah menemui Lee Kuan Yew, Seorang penyokong kuat idea Malaysia, Lee Kuan Yew telah menggunakan kebijaksanaannya untuk mendesak pemimpin-pemimpin Borneo supaya mereka menyokong cadangan Tunku (rujukan: Interview of Datuk Ong Kee HUi oleh J.P Ongkili dalam bukunya, Nation-building in Malaysia, 1946-1974).

Tentu sekali, Persekutuan Malaya dan Singapura lebih memihak kewujudan Malaysia daripada Sabah dan Sarawak. Misalnya dalam satu ucapanya dalam ‘Foreign Correspondents’ Association of South-East Asia’ diSingapura pada 27hb May, 1961, Tunku telah mengatakan bahawa, Malaya tidak akan sanggup bersendirian dan telah mencadangkan bahawa tidak lama kemudian Malaya seharusnya akan mengadakan persefahaman dengan British dan Singapura, Sabah(Borneo Utara), Brunei dan Sarawak (Ongkili, 1985).

Lee Kuan Yew, telah membuat satu kenyataan pada tahun 1961 bahwa “gabungan akan berlaku bukan atas sebab kehendak Parti Tindakan Rakyat atau disebabkan kehendak Kerajaan Perikatan Persekutuan. Tetapi perkara itu tidak dapat dielakkan seolah-olah seperti matahari yang terbit dan terbenam” (Ongkili, 1985)

Sebanyak sedikit, pembentukan Malaysia adalah juga kehendak British. ‘The Times’ telah melaporkan pada 28hb Julai 1961, “Keinginan strategik British di kawasan ini adalah juga diingini oleh Austtralia dan New Zealand yang juga akan membentuk polisi yang sama (Ongkili, 1985).

‘Kawasan’ yang dimaksudkan itu ialah Asia-Tenggara Selatan dan maksud ‘polisi yang sama’ ialah dalam bentuk Malaysia dimana, mungkin, mereka akan dapat mengekalkan pengaruh mereka walaupun terdapatnya kesan-kesan nasionalisme mula timbul di kalangan negeri-negeri di bawah pemerintahan koloni dan desakan daripada pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu untuk memberi kemerdekaan kepada negeri-negeri jajahan koloni tersebut.

Pengerusi Suruhanjaya COBBOLD telah memberi pandangan yang penting. Beliau telah mengatakan bahawa, “daripada mula lagi, Malaysia seharusnya dianggap oleh semua yang berkenaan sebagai satu gabungan ahli yang samarata, bergabung untuk mempercepatkan matlamat yang sama untuk membentuk sebuag Negara tetapi mengekalkan cirri-ciri tersendiri negeri-negeri berkenaan.

Jika sekiranya sebarang cubaan oleh Malaysia untuk ‘mengambil alih’ sempadan-sempadan Borneo oleh Persekutuan Malaysia dan menenggelamkan ciri-ciri tersendiri Borneo Utara dan Sarawak, maka pendapat saya, Malaysia secara umunya tidak boleh diterima atau Berjaya.” (Ongkili, 1985, Nation-building in Malaysia 1946-1974).

Dalam keadaan yang sebenar, ‘hakisan’ secara perlahan-perlahan terhadap perlindungan terhadap negeri-negeri Borneo oleh Kerajaan Persekutuan, seolah-olah satu tindakan yang menghapuskan siri-siri tersendiri negeri-negeri tersebut.

Oleh sebab itu, jika sekiranya Perjanjian Malaysia tidak sah, maka Malaysia sebagai sebuah Negara juga adalah tidak sah dan kehilangan kesahihan entitinya. Malaysia telah dan masih beroperasi selama 48 tahun selepas penyingkiran Singapura.

Sepertimana yang telah dipertikaikan, perkembangan politik sepanjang masa tersebut telah tidak membenarkan pihak-pihak dalam Perjanjian Malaysia itu untuk mengkaji kembali atau mempersoalkan isu-isu tersebut.

Pada hari ini, kedaan politik bertukar kearah keburukan, adalah mustahak sekali dan mendesak untuk mengkaji semula syarat-syarat Perjanjian Malaysia. Yakni memberi kesahihan kembali kepada perjanjian itu adalah sangat mustahak.

Sept 16 is a black day for Sabah

Celebrating Malaysia Day on Sept 16 would be meaningless, hollow and empty unless the special rights and autonomy of Sabah and Sarawak as agreed, promised and assured by the Founding Fathers of Malaysia are fulfilled.

The Founding Fathers of Malaysia from the Borneo states took great risks to agree and to be pushed and rushed into the merger with Malaya and Singapore to the extent of denying themselves (the Borneo States) the opportunity to attain political maturity first and to enjoy the freedom and practice of self-rule as what is now enjoyed by Brunei.

This is despite the fact that opinions and assessments from various quarters involved in the negotiations gave a clear and mature signal to the merger.

For example, according to British documents released recently, Sir William Goode (last Governor of British North Borneo) and Waddle (British Representative in Singapore) insisted “that Borneo
is not ready for self-government, which they fear would turn out to be an unequal partnership between the Borneo Horse and the Malayan Rider.

They warned of dangers of “shotgun marriage.” “None of the territories (Sarawak, North Borneo and Brunei) would be ready for self-government earlier than 1970” and “All territories, Brunei, North Borneo and Sarawak were ‘unfitted’ to enter Malaysia on the basis of popular representation”.

Sel Kirk (British High Commissioner based in Singapore) gave Sarawak about 10 years, and North Borneo at least 20 years before a clear cut electoral opinion would be given on this subject.

Lord Cobbold, Chairman of the Cobbold Commission, even warned that “It is necessary condition, from the outset, that Malaysia shall be regarded by all concerned as an association of partners combining in the common interest to create a new nation but retaining their own individualities.”

Even the United Nation (UN) Team sent to ascertain the feelings of the people of North Borneo and Sarawak also came back with an inconclusive report saying 2/3 are not convinced to the formation of Malaysia.

Tun Fuad Stephens (Donald Stephens) himself expressed his concerns in a letter to Tunku Abdul Rahman (before the formation of Malaysia) – “If we had been asked to join Malaysia at the time Malaya achieved independence and Britain made it possible for us, the story would have been a different one”.

“Now that ‘Merdeka’ has been Malaya’s for some years, and we are still struggling towards it, Malaya’s proposal that we join as the 12th, 13th and 14th states savours of imperialism, of a drive to turn us into Malayan colonies…. to join Malaya, while we are still colonies… the implication is to hand (ourselves) over to your control.”

Then, to the Straits Times, Tun Fuad wrote: “We are against joining Malaysia as individual states, and want the Borneo territories to get together, so that when we talk with Malaya, it will be as equal partners and not as vassals…, and if we join Malaya now, the people who will come and take most of the top jobs will be Malayan… the new expatriates…”

Tunku’s assurances
Doubts and concerns expressed by the Borneo leaders to the status of Sabah and Sarawak in the Federation were subsequently addressed by Tunku Abdul Rahman and his team when they agreed to take into consideration the 20-Points conditions.

Tunku Abdul Rahman assured that “The granting of self-government too would enable Sabah to stand on its own feet as equal with Malaya, Sarawak and Singapore”.

“The important aspects of the Malaysia Ideal, as I see it, is that it will enable the Borneo territories to transform their present colonial status to ‘self-government’ for themselves and absolute independence in Malaysia simultaneously..”

“The days of imperialism are gone and it is not the intention of Malaya to perpetuate or revive them. When the Borneo territories become part of Malaysia, they will cease to be colonies, they will be partners of equal status, no more or less than the other states.” (the ‘other states’ refer to the other states’ entities of Malaya, Singapore and Sarawak).

Thus what eventually convinced the Borneo states leaders to form Malaysia beside the question of security, were the assurances that the merger would be that of equal partnership of the signatory states (Malaya, Singapore, Sabah and Sarawak) to the Malaysia Agreement, the autonomy and special rights accorded to Sabah and Sarawak under the 20-Points, Inter-Governmental Committee (IGC) Report and the Malaysia Agreement itself.

Have all these Agreement, promises and assurances been fulfilled? Is Sabah now secure and enjoying “absolute independence” in Malaysia? Are we now in control of our economic resources, our political franchise and our future? If the answer is “NO” then what are we celebrating on the Sept 16?

We might as well regard Sept 16 as a ‘Sad Day’ to remember when we ended freedom and independence to be taken over and re-colonized by Malaya.

Ironically, on Aug 31, 1963 (two weeks before the formation of Malaysia), Sabah was granted independence from the British to which Sir William Goode declared – “Today is a historic day for Sabah. It marks the beginning of self-government and independence and the end of colonialism”.

If anything at all, let Sept 16 be an occasion to reflect and review our position in the Federation of Malaysia and find a solution to save a potentially fragile nation from breaking apart.

Our state political leaders should use this occasion to rise above partisan political interest, fighting for self-interest in the name of development to one committed to the larger interst of Sabah and Sarawak and for the future well-being of Sabahans and Sarawakians.

The time to do this is right and most appropriate as Sabah and Sarawak are not merely “fixed deposits” States but they are actually the “Kingmakers” the “Penentu” as to who goes to Putrajaya and who will fulfill the promises of Sept 16, 1963.

Jeffrey Kitingan, a Harvard scholar, is a former ISA detainee under Dr Mahathir Mohamad regime, accused of purportedly wanting to take out Sabah from Malaysia. He was briefly vice-president of PKR before quitting the party accusing it of not listening to Sabah and Sarawak aspirations. He is currently leading United Borneo Front (UBF) which seeks a reinstatement of autonomy to Sabah.

Hi everyone... It has been 2 weeks already I didn't update my blog... Sorry for that... Yeah, the same words keep repeating... Haha... For my latest entry, I would like to share some video which I think that as a Sabahan and Malaysian, you are compulsory to watch it... Know your Land's history will remind you about what do we need to struggle soon... Let us be strong and unite together to form a better future for our next generation to come... We might a little bit late to feel the new atmosphere but not to our future generation... If we did a mistake now, this will surely affect our future generation just how the previous leader has done to our life... Here I might be a little bit (more) PATRIOTIC to our Beloved LAND BELOW THE WIND... You can see this through my entry and the next... Bear in mind about the FORMATION of MALAYSIA... WE ARE NOT THE EXTENSION STATE OF MALAYA BUT RATHER A PARTNERSHIP IN FORMING THE MALAYSIA in 16 SEPTEMBER 1963... Together with our neighboring state, SARAWAK. As the history told us, Malaya, Singapore, Sabah and Sarawak together forming Malaysia which makes the Malaysia today well known in the world (because of the messy politic created by the large group of selfish and annoying people )... But then in 1965, Malaya kick Singapore due to political concern and left Sabah & Sarawak alone...

Are we celebrating our Independence Day 16 September 2011??? For me, Yes and No. We celebrating the formation of Malaysia which we gain independence through the PARTNERSHIP but at the same time, we actually has been colonized by Malaya for 48 years! I don't have to say it.... Take a moment of your time and think about it... Those who do not like politic, you have no choice... It's your obligation to know and learn the politic... It happened everywhere...

So here I am want to urge to every members of Sabahan Bloggers, to share and spread the news that we have work to do... That is... To change the current government which will protect us and return our Dignity as a Sabahan.

Hi everyone... This all day, I've been keep thinking about what I want to post in my blog... Then, this evening, I did a blog walking in Chegu Carol's blog and I read her new entry about "Bunting Kerbau". It was a sharing about a comment from one of her student towards her leg (calf muscle=otot betis) which is something that adult (male or female or both) should not say it to someone (kalau tidak, mungkin ada biru mata juga lah...Hehe..)

So, here I want to share a true story about my experience in english class which is I feel have some similarity with chegu carol's story... Hehehe... Before that, I would like to take chegu carol's phrase that I have to acknowledgeI it's truthfulness ... "Deny all you want, it still can’t change the fact that you do have that teeny-weeny feeling of If-Only-It-Is-Like-This".

Hehe... There was a day during my secondary school, an English teacher came in the class. she taught us and I just love the way she taught us... Very funny and interesting... Then, came this moment where she introduced us with a new word (vocabulary). "Stocky". We all didn't understand the word. She explain again with an example... She choose me to be the example... She said, "Mosses is a stocky guy. Just like his father". Still we don't understand. Again she explain through translation. "Mosses adalah seorang yang pendek-pendek tagap. Sama seperti bapanya".

From that moment, I kind of hate her because my friends in the class never stop praising (teasing) me with that name till my graduation day. I share this word with my father after school during our dinner. He don't understand. A little bit blur maybe... The moment I told him the meaning of that word, he said "Kepala otak dialah dia lah...". Hehe.. He hate that word... And I do hate this word... We both hate this word... So, beware with your word... Otherwise, people will get hurt... Huhuhu...

Hi everyone.... I would like to share with you all... But some of my blogger friends already knew about this entry.... But this is for those who haven't read the very memorable entry by Mr. Gunsirit (http://gunsirit.com/about-me/the-buffalo-boy/). I did blogwalking this morning because I'm looking for my friends list that I lost due to some technical mistake I guess after upgrading my domain. About this entry, I always heard stories from my parents and friends about memory with buffalo but sadly, I just have memory looking buffalo from a distant. During my childhood, I saw a lot of buffalo in my previous place (place that I lived before, Kg. Metambai Kepayan). I saw a herd of buffalo passing my house and keep shouting at it... "Mummy... Daddy... tu karabau limpas rumah kita... Aci... jaga ko, jgn ko pakai baju merah... nanti kena tanduk kita..." Huhu...

Really, Mr. Gunsirit entry really remind me about the little memory with this buffalo... My father used to have it before... But in order to support his study in oversea, his karabau kena jual orang... My daddy shared me his story too... Exactly like Mr. Gunsirit... After school, he brought his buffalo to a place that full of grass... Let his buffalo eat till full (But I guess, karabau never really full right) then only he brought to a river... To bath his buffalo... But actually, he want to bath too... Hehe...

Those memory were very precious and sweet... Too valuable to be forgotten...

So, here I share with you all to watch and listen to a video song about karabau (buffalo) that I found in the youtube to remind us about the this memory...

At least after watching this video, it can heal our sadness memory with this karabau...

Berita mengembirakan ini telah diumukan oleh PM Najib Razak. Para pembaca blog ini yang sudah bergelar penjawat awam pasti merasa senang hati mendengarnya. Tambah-tambah lagi di tengah-tengah trend kenaikan harga barangan dan kos perkhidmatan yang seolah tidak dapat dibendung sejak beberapa tahun kebelakangan ini.

Pengumumkan oleh pihak kerajaan ini sedikit sebanyak mampu meringankan bebanan yang ditanggung oleh rata-rata kakitangan kerajaan. Seperti yang telah diberitakan, para pesara kerajaan bakal mendapat RM500 sementara kakitangan yang sedang berkhidmat pula layak diberikan setengah bulan bonus. Bergantung kepada gaji asas penjawat berkenaan.

InsyaAllah bayaran bonus ini akan dilakukan bermula pada pertengahan bulan Ramadhan ini. Kita menjangkakan ianya mulai dibayar pada 15hb Ogos 2011 secara berperingkat.

Menurut PM, "pemberian bonus dan bayaran khas itu akan membabitkan 1.27 juta penjawat awam Persekutuan dan 590,000 pesara kerajaan dengan anggaran perbelanjaan sebanyak RM2 bilion".

Graduation Day

Hi... Saya mahu kongsikan bah Graduation Day baby saya... Hehe... Graduation dia sudah limpas (berlalu) iaitu pada 27 Julai 2011 bertempat di Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Tg. Malim, Perak. Baby saya graduate dalam "Sarjana Muda Pendidikan (Pendidikan Khas) dengan Kepujian".

Setelah berjuang selama 4 tahun, akhirnya segala usaha dia dibayar pada hari yang sangat penting dan amat ditunggu-tunggu selama ini. Semua keluarga baby saya datang untuk memberi sokongan dan meraihkan kejayaannya menghabiskan pengajiannya dengan jayanya. Dalam bulan 10 (oktober 2011) pula, akan ada 2 orang lagi dalam keluarganya (abang: dalam bidang kedoktoran, adik perempuan: Science in Technology) yang akan graduate.... Hehehe....

Walau apapun, masa untuk mereka bertiga untuk membantu keluarganya dalam semua aspek akan bermula tidak lama lagi... Hehe... "Get a job, get money, help your family". Perkataan ini yang selalu akan berkumandang di udara bila jumpa dengan orang tua... Tapi, sangat tidak dinafikan sebab inilah sebab mengapa kita semua belajar... Dapatkan ilmu, basic knowledge to survive in this world, pray to God for protection and comfort, work and support family members as much as we can...

Saya sangat gembira melihat baby saya graduate... She really looks different that time... But still, the one that I truly love... My future mate... The one that will be with me forever in this world and after life... The one who will give me a plenty of fruits... The one who I can share my burden, love and everything....

My baby asked me, "why don't you say something on this my special day?". I just don't know what to say... I'm speechless... I keep silent myself... But after we went back to my baby's house (rent house) together with her family, I kiss her at her forehead and say this words... "Congratulation Dear... Muahhh... I love you so much!"

Now, it's my turn to graduate next year... Wish me the best kio... Can't wait to feel that moment... Hehe...

My Reflection moment... Part 1

Huuuhhh... What a tiring day... To all my friends... I am very sorry for not able to be with you through this blog for one month plus... After I sharing about my grandma, I made a new entry about our latest Driving License's Promotion (ADC Driving Institute Inanam Branch). It's not that I don't have time to make some new entry during that one month plus (May and June), but the mood to type is not there (consider lazy)... Sorry for this attitude... But, here I go again with the same wish but more strict... I will do my very best effort to post a new entry at least 2 per month. The more entry will be better right... Haha...

Okay, we start from this picture. I was at the LCCT KL airport on the 15th of May 2011 at 6.45am. Suddenly I saw this advertisement... "For heaven's sake, get yourself covered!". Haha... This is one of the way how to promote people to buy an umbrella... Fine with me... Hehe...

I couldn't sleep for one night at the airport and caused me to sleep well (tidur mati) during my flight to Kota Kinabalu from KL. Well, the time taken to reach Kota Kinabalu Sabah from Kuala Lumpur is about 2 hour 45 minute. But when I woke up after reached KK airport, I can't barely move my body (cramp)... Huhuhu... Incorrect sleeping position... At the airport, my mother fetch me up. Before this, she said that "we don't have any new car". But what happen was a lady drive a Dmax smiling at me... "Okay... Dmax... Wow...". Ada perkembangan sudah... I was quite happy because we has had a new car... Haha... Sorry, I don't have the picture here... After that, we direct went to Sabah Medical Centre (SMC) to visit my grandma. Before this, she was admitted to Heart Intensive Care Unit (HICU) due to heart problem. But now, she feeling much better after the Doctor put a battery in her heart to stabilize the heart rhythm so that it won't go too fast or too slow. It makes the heart to beat at normal beat. Thanks God that she okay now... Pandai mau marah-marah sudah nenek sya... Hehe...

On the 28th of May 2011, I started clinical at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kota Kinabalu for one month. Huhuhu... What a tiring and stressful month that time... But I love QEH very much because the therapists there were very Professional! Especially Mdm Voo and Mr. Sin. Both of them guide and taught me very well... I went to Lingzhi and Hospital Mesra Bukit Padang to treat patient. A lot of things I learned there. "You must strengthening you skill and knowledge in order to become a good therapists". This is one of their advice. Thank you so much! For your infor, on this coming September or October 2011, I will be doing my clinical once more in this hospital. Why? Because QEH is the BEST HOSPITAL TO DO CLINICAL IN ORDER TO BECOME A GOOD THERAPIST! Hehehe...

Okay, I will stop for now. Next entry, I will post a new entry about Kaamatan at KDCA... Not much but there is a suprise for you all... I met someone who we always heard his name... Hehehe... Guess who??? Hehe... Just wait my new entry with patient k... Yeahhh....

On the 14 Mei 2011 afternoon, I got a message (sms) from my brother... "Koko (brother), mama sekarang di ICU... Pray for her k...". ***Blank + speechless for a few second*** At that time, I was cleaning and packing my stuff for the preparation next week (22/5/2011) before going home to sabah. I couldn't reply him because I was out of credit. Then, I kneel down started to pray... All what I think is I have to go back to sabah immediately... Suddenly my phone ringing... My mother call and I immediately asked her question to get confirmation about the news I got from my brother...

"Mummy, betul kah mama di ICU sudah???". My mother replied to me... "Ya... Dia di ICU SMC... Kami sdh inform semua orang... Mau bersedia...". When I heard my mother said like that... I felt very sad... Suddenly I remember her words... "Nanti saya pegi kl tengok kau graduate..." Mama (grandma) promise want to see me graduate and holding a piece of certificate in my graduation day... I don't know why this memory struck my head... I just don't want to think anything... What is the most important things right now is to pray for my grandma... So that she may have the strength to continue her life...

Right now, I typing this words down for the new entry to post so that I can to share with you all... And I want to ask favor from you all... Please pray for my grandma... That's all I asking from you... I'm in LCCT right now waiting for my flight at 9.30am.

I hope nothing happen to my grandma... "Mama mest KUAT! Nanti bulan 12, kita celebrate X'Mas di Tambunan ar... Kasi kuat tu semangat...!"

Akhirnya... Saya habis juga exam... Hehehe... Yeahhh... Sekarang adalah masa untuk... Berblogging... Hehehe... Release juga stress saya akhirnya... Minggu depan, 23/5/2011 saya akan buat klinikal saya di Hospital Queen Elizabeth untuk bidang Stroke. Dan sebab itulah entry saya sebelum ni adalah pasal stroke. Saya akan buat klinikal di hospital Queen untuk selama satu bulan di Jabatan Rehabilitasi Unit Pemulihan Carakerja (Occupational Therapy). Tidak sabar mau buat klinikal disana... Hehehe... Saya mau kasi asah kemahiran saya dalam mengendali pesakit strok. Teori penting tetapi kemahiran (skills) itu lagi penting.

21/5/2011 adalah merupakan tarikh dinner OT. Ini juga adalah sempena untuk merayakan pemergian senior kami yang akan graduate bulan 8 sebab semester ini adalah semester terakhir buat mereka...

22/5/2011 adalah tarikh saya pulang dan sampai sabah. Yeyeye... Tapi awal betul saya punya flight... Saya pilih jam 2.30pm. Satu kali sudah beli, saya re-check, punya takajut saya... Jam 6.30am ni... Matilah juga begini... Dinner habis lebih kurang jam 11.30pm. Terpaksalah time pegi dinner bawa beg sekali ni... Inda macho betul begini... Tapi terpaksalah... Lepas dinner, ambil teksi terus pegi airport... Huhuhuhu... Sayang duit saya... Walau apapun, saya akan berada disabah selama 1 bulan dan next semester saya akan buat juga klinikal saya disabah tetapi saya akan buat di hospital likas dalam bidang Padeatric... hehee...

Oh ya, selepas habis exam, kami dapat surat untuk posting bah selepas tamat belajar ni (tempat mau kerja nantilah bah tu...). Ada 4 keping kertas. Dan yang menarik perhatian saya ni, salah satu kertas tu ada tulis "Nama Tunang/suami/isteri/No. Kad pengenalan/Tempat bertugas". Senior saya cakap, kalau kau mau kerja disabah dan minta tempat yang kau mau kerja, pastikan kau sudah kahwin (tunang mungkin bule juga lah) supaya keberangkalian untuk dapat tempat yang dipohon adalah tinggi... Hehehe... Saya mau letak isteri tapi tidak bule sebab takut kena minta sijil kahwin (huhuhu... Belum kahwin lagi bah ni...). Cuma bule letak Tunang jah sebab tunang kan dorang tidak minta sijil. Memandangkan tunang tiada sijil, jadi adalah selamat saya letak Tunang... Hehehhe... Bule juga bah tu kan sebab saya plan mau Tunang tahun depan... Hehehe....

Hehehe... Saya gembira betul sekarang ni... Yeyeyeye... Hahaha.... Saya mau jogging petang ni mau kasi buang tu semua stress (ada sikit lagi lah)... Okay, I will post new entry tomorrow... Hahaha... Langadon oku kampungku... Rindu bah tu bau tahi karabau kalau dikampung... huhuhu.... Hehehe...

Penyelidik dari Universiti Medical Center di Utrecht, Belanda menjalankan kajian terhadap 250 pesakit selama tiga tahun untuk mencari punca faktor berisiko yang meningkatkan tekanan darah dalam tempoh singkat, sekali gus mengakibatkan ‘ledakan’ dalam pembuluh darah.

Aneurysms adalah bengkak arteri yang lazimnya tidak mendatangkan masalah serius tetapi apabila bengkak melarat dan pecah, ia boleh mengakibatkan strok.

Kajian yang diterbitkan dalam jurnal perubatan berjudul Strok: Journal of the American Heart Association, mendapati punca utama arteri pecah adalah tabiat minum kopi yang menyumbang kepada 10 peratus kes.

Faktor lain termasuk senaman berlebihan (7.9 peratus), menghembus hingus (5.4 peratus), melakukan hubungan seks (4.3 peratus), meneran ketika membuang air besar (3.6 peratus), minum air berkarbonat (3.5 peratus), terkejut (2.7 peratus) dan marah (1.3 peratus).

Kajian itu mendapati kopi meningkatkan risiko arteri pecah sehingga 70 peratus sementara terperanjat meningatkan risiko kepada 23 kali ganda.
Dr Monique Vlak, yang mengendalikan kajian itu memberitahu Perbadanan Penyiaran Britain (BBC) bahawa semua cetusan itu menyebabkan peningkatan tekanan darah secara tiba-tiba dalam tempoh singkat yang menjadi punca biasa arteri pecah.

“Kajian ini berkaitan dengan mereka yang mempunyai aneurysm otak yang tidak dirawat. Ia sering menyebabkan dindingnya membengkak. Jika pecah, ia akan menyebabkan strok yang dikenali sebagai subarachnoid hemorrhage.

“Ia babitkan pendarahan antara membran yang meliputi otak,” kata Vlak.

Pakar neuro yang juga pakar strok di Universiti Health and Science Oregon, Stanley Barnwell, memberitahu rangkaian Cable News Network (CNN): “Kajian itu hanya membabitkan jumlah pesakit yang kecil dan ia memerlukan kajian lanjut.” – Agensi

Clinical In Hospital Permai Johor Bahru (Psychiatric Hospital)

On 7th Mac 2011, I was doing my Psychiatric Clinical for one month in this hospital together with my friends and senior. All of us here were 12 trainees if I'm not mistaken. Before I share my experience clinical in this hospital, I would like to introduce some information about the history of Hospital Permai. I would like share in Bahasa because the information I got is in Bahasa... Maintaining its originality. Haha...

SEJARAH HOSPITAL PERMAI JOHOR BAHRU (HPJB)

Hospital Permai Johor Bahru merupakan salah satu institusi mental di Malaysia selain Hospital Bahagia Ulu Kinta, Perak, Hospital Sentosa, Sarawak, dan Hospital Bukit Padang, Sabah. Kawasannya yang permai dihiasi dengan lanskap hasil usahasama anggota dan pesakit. Hospital ini dilengkapi dengan lebih kurang 1,500 katil yang disediakan untuk pesakit-pesakit jiwa dari negeri Kelantan, Terengganu, Timur Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka dan Johor.

Sesuai dengan aspirasi kewujudannya sebagai sebuah institusi rawatan dan pemulihan sakit jiwa, ia telah membina asas yang kukuh dalam melaksanakan fungsi-fungsi rawatan dan pemulihan psikiatri. Perubahan dan perkembangan dari masa ke semasa dalam dunia psikiatri menjadikan Hospital Permai mengambil inisiatif keterlibatan dan bertindak selaras dengan dasar negara. Perkhidmatan Hospital Permai bukan sahaja meletakkan aspirasi tersebut dalam rangka pemikiran semata-mat, malah berusaha bersama-sama keseluruhan anggotanya, menterjemah kerangka pemikiran itu dalam bentuk perlaksanaan.

HOSPITAL SAKIT JIWA PERTAMA DI JOHOR

Pada tahun 1916, sebuah hospital sakit jiwa telah dibina di Batu 3, Jalan Sekudai, Johor Bahru. Hospital ini telah dinamakan Mental Assylum tetapi lebih dikenali sebagai Hospital Gila Batu 3. Tapak hospital ini sekarang dijadikan tapak senaman Pantai Lido. Sebelum hospital ini dibina, pesakit jiwa mendapat rawatan di Hospital Woodbridge, Singapura.

Tujuan utama hospital ini dibina adalah untuk mengasingkan “orang gila” dari masyarakat. Pada ketika itu, belum ada rawatan menggunakan ubat kimia atau rawatan kejutan elektrik (electro-convulsive therapy atau ECT). Kepercayan bahawa sakit gila disebabkan oleh rasukan hantu, syaitan menjadi pegangan masyarakat pada masa itu. Untuk mengendalikan pesakit ini, mereka selalunya dikurung atau dipasung (restrained). Dengan adanya assylum, pesakit-pesakit ini ditempatkan di situ supaya tidak mengganggu orang ramai.

LUNATIC ASSYLUM

Pada tahun 1929, hospital ini telah ditukar namanya kepada Lunatic Assylum. Keadaan pada waktu malam di kawasan hospital sangat gelap ketika itu. Kadang kala, binatang buas seperti harimau dan babi hutan merayau-rayau di kawasan rumah pekerja dan hospital.

JOHOR NEW MENTAL HOSPITAL

Pada tahun 1936, Duli Yang Maha Mulia Al-Marhum Sultan Ibrahim telah berkenan untuk memindahkan Hospital Gila di Batu 3 ke tempat yang lebih sesuai. Baginda telah memerintahkan PMO pada masa itu, Dr G.H Garlick untuk mencari tempat baru.

Dr Garlick dengan bantuan isteri beliau telah menemui satu kawasan hutan berbukit dan berlurah. Setelah diperkenankan oleh Sultan, maka pada tahun 1936, kerja-kerja pembinaan telah dimulakan oleh Syarikat Dobb dari England. Seorang juruukur, Encik Madhu Singh telah ditugaskan untuk membuat jalan masuk sebelum kerja pembinaan dimulakan. Pada tahun 1937, hospital tersebut telah siap dibina dengan perbelanjaan RM1,618,100.00. Ia telah dibuka dengan rasminya pada 30 Oktober 1937.

Keluasan kawasan hospital ialah 635 ekar, tetapi kawasan yang digunakan cuma 110 ekar sahaja. Hospital ini terletak kira-kira 16 km dari Bandar Johor Bahru. Hospital ini dinamakan Johor Mental Hospital. Ia adalah salah sebuah hospital sakit jiwa yang termoden ketika itu. Dalam akhbar Malay Tribune keluaran 1937 menyatakan bahawa hospital ini adalah yang kedua terbaik selain dari yang ada di Australia ketika itu.

PERANG DUNIA KEDUA

Singapura telah dibom pada 8 Disember 1941 jam 4.00 pagi oleh tentera Jepun. Dari hospital ini, jelas kedengaran bunyi tembakan serta letupan. Tentera Australia dan semua kakitangan yang ada berpindah ke Singapura seminggu sebelum tentera Jepun memasuki Johor Bahru.

Semasa Pendudukkan Jepun, hospital ini masih lagi memberikan perkhidmatannya, bukan sahaja sebagai tempat perawatan dan pemulihan, tetapi juga sebagai tempat penduduk sekitar berlindung dari menjadi mangsa pengeboman Jepun dan perang yang berleluasa.

Kedatangan Jepun ke sini telah membawa satu tragedi yang sukar dilupai oleh warga Permai apabila Dr Perinbam dan Dr S.D Luther dibunuh dengan kejamnya dihadapan kakitangan hospital.

SELEPAS PERANG DUNIA KEDUA

Pada tahun 1945, tentera British kembali berkuasa. Mereka mengambil alih hospital ini dan dijadikan markas Jungle Squad. Pada masa itu, atendan-atendan tidak lagi bekerka di hospital. Kebanyakkan daripada mereka bekerja di Hospital Besar (HSA) dan selebihnya mencari pekerjaan lain. Pada tahun 1951, proses pengambilan semula pekerja untuk bekerja semula di Mental Hospital telah dilaksanakan. Seramai 42 orang, kebanyakkannya bekas atendan hospital ini mula menjalankan kerja menebang dan membersihkan kawasan hospital.

Pada 1 April 1952, Mental Hospital telah beroperasi semula. Dr Ratnasamy, diikuti oleh Dr David Lennox yang menjadi Penguasa Perubatan ketika itu. Dr David Lennox adalah Pakar Perubatan Jiwa yang pertama di hospital ini. Beliau banyak membawa perubahan dalam aspek perawatan sakit jiwa.

HOSPITAL PERMAI MENGAMBIL NAMA

Pada tahun 1972, Y.B. Tun Sardon B Hj Jubir, Menteri Kesihatan Malaysia ketika itu telah dengan rasminya menamakan hospital ini dengan nama “Hospital Permai”.

Melalui perjalanan masa, Hospital Permai bergerak meluncur merentasi zaman. Permai menggembeleng tenaga untuk membuat perancangan masa depan. Program mengintegrasikan dan menggembeleng tenaga untuk membuat perancangan masa depan. Program mengintegrasikan dan menggembeleng perkhidmatan psikiatri ke daerah-daerah dan Pusat-Pusat Kesihatan telah menjadi kenyatan. Dengan ini bermakna terjadi penyepaduan kesihatan mental ke dalam program penjagaan kesihatan primer.

Langkah-langkah yang telah diambil ke arah mencapai matlamat menjadikan Hospital Permai sebagai institusi yang cemerlang dalam pemulihan mental. Ini tidak pula bermakna Permai hanya tertumpu ke arah pemulihan semata-mata. Sebenarnya permai menjadi pusat pendidikan dan latihan bagi mereka yang memerlukan pengetahuan dan kepakaran dalam bidang psikiatrik.

*** So, how is the introduction about this hospital? Haha... During my clinical here, I was assigned to in-charge Job Placement with one of my friend, Tiqah. There were many different wards. For male, it has 23 wards and female has 16 wards if I'm not mistaken. Correct me if I'm wrong. There were Acute, Chronic and Forensic ward.

Okay, what I can say about my experience here was... When we get the referral letter from Doctor for Job placement purpose, we will interview from all aspects. In term of patient's Independence performing daily activities, physical condition and mental status, we will recommend the best and suitable job for patient. In helping patient to recover from their illness, occupation is one of the healing method/intervention. However, it is also depend on level of illness. Mostly patient who was refer for job placement is a moderate category. Overall, the patient in Permai Hospital is Schizpphrenia. You want to know what is Schizophrenia? Type in google this word and you will soon understand. I learnt a lot of things here... In Academic aspects and also about life. Conclusion... Do take care of your health and mental. Control your emotion and feeling. Do not let it control your mind and body. Otherwise, you will end up in Psychiatric Hospital... This is not a wish but a reminder.***

On the 5th Mac 2011, we departed to Johor Bahru from KSKB Sg. Buloh Selangor at 10.30 am if I'm not mistaken. Supposedly, we depart at 8.30 am but there were miscommunication with the college driver which drag for 2 hours. So, here is the story...

Going to Kuantan Pahang on February 2011

Hi everyone... I am deeply sorry for inconsistent in posting a new story for you all. But here, I will share all the event occurred in February, Mac and April... Hope you enjoy... First, I would like to share about my visit to Kuantan Pahang.

On 25th February 2011, I went to Kuantan Pahang with my baby. The purpose was to meet Professor Dr. Retno Andayani at UIA. Our journey start right after I finished my class at 5.00pm. We went to KL Central using KTM and transit using Monorel from KL Central to Titiwangsa. From there, we took a bus to kuantan. Around 10.00am, I meet my friends, Dexter and two other friends. Then, we went to meet Prof and the meeting was last for almost three hours. The meeting was actually all about ginger.

On Sunday, my baby and I went to St. Thomas Church Kuantan Pahang (a place where I used to get involved in spiritual activities). We joined the gathering for a short while. Giving a short talk and sing a songs to lift up the spirit to worship and honour God is what we always do in Praise and Worship.

Disini saya mau kongsikan satu pengalaman yang menyebabkan satu trauma yang menakutkan bagi seseorang... Pengalaman ini adalah pengalaman daripada my special girlfriend… My baby… Kejadian ini berlaku minggu lepas… 3 Februari 2011. Pada hari tersebut, girlfriend sya dengan family nya pergi picnic di pulau sapi menggunakan bot mereka sendiri pada awal pagi lebih kurang jam 7am… Mereka menghabiskan masa disana dengan menyelam, bermain dan berbual2… Family’s leisure time…

Selepas berada disana lebih kurang 4 hingga 5 jam, mereka pun bercadang untuk singgah di pantai dalit likas untuk memukat… Tetapi dalam perjalanan, ombak terlalu kuat sehinggakan air laut masuk terlalu banyak… Mereka berusaha untuk mengeluarkan air namun usaha itu tidak mencukupi… Mereka ada 6 orang anak beranak termasuk seorang cousin. Untuk menyelamatkan mereka semua, bapanya terbalikkan bot untuk mereka berpaut… Abang gf sya pula berenang pergi ke pantai untuk meminta bantuan. Mereka berada di tengah laut lebih kurang sejam… bot tourist ada lalu tetapi tidak memberi bantuan… What kind of human they are???? Lepas abang dia sampai pantai, siap dengan soalan lagi orang yang tengok tu tanya… Ko pilipin kah??? So what? Are they not deserve to be save???

Tapi syukur sbb bantuan akhirnya sampai dan mereka semua pun selamat sampai ke pantai... Mereka kemudian buat laporan polis sebab barang yang penting-penting seperti IC, duit semuanya hilang dan tidak dapat diselamatkan. Ketika membuat laporan polis, ini pun masalah... Polis ni terlalu Idiot... Lain yang diceritakan... Lain yang ditulis dalam laporan... Orang dalam keadaan trauma, siap marah-marah lagi... Cakap mesra pelanggan... What a &*%^*)@%! I am sorry... I was just too angry because of what has happened...

Sya sngt terkejut setelah mengetahui berita ini… No wonder sya hairan napa gf sya tdk call sya sepanjang satu hari… Ini pula yang terjadi… Sampai skrng baby sya masih dalam keadaan trauma… Walau apapun, Thanks to God for His Mercy and Love… Without His Mercy and Love, I might be (I don’t know what to say)… Alleluya… Praise be to God… Amen.

Hi semua… Hehe… Sori banyak2 sebab tidak dapat kasi update sya punya blog… Okay, I just want to let you know that my exam is finished already. Thank you so much for all your support and motivation. I do, and really appreciate it… Sepanjang Exam tu, sya mendapat ketenangan dan keyakinan diri. Sya ingat dan sedar itu semua adalah berkat dan doa kamu semua… Thank you once again for that…

Okay, sekarang sya berada di Kota Kinabalu sudah… Inanam. Flight sya pada 15hb Nov 2010 pada jam 8.ooam. Sya sampai airport sabah pada jam 10.30am. Sya sangat minta maaf bayak2 sekali lagi sebab sya fikir nanti time di sabah, sya dapat online dan update selalu blog sya, tau2… Haha… Lagi busy dari belajar… Setiap hari, lebih kurang jam 7.00am, kami (mummy dan daddy + sya + adik) kena bergerak pergi ofis kami di inanam http://adcdriving.weebly.com . Daddy sya suruh sya design brochure untuk mau kasi advertise kepada sesiapa yang berminat dan mau belajar memandu… itulah tugas sya skarang… Sebab itulah banner diatas tu yang pasal ADC diletakkan dibawah header blog sya….

Ermmm… Bule bah kan sya minta tolong kamu (Sabahan bloggers) kalau kamu tidak kisah…. Kalau mcm ada kawan2 yang mau blajar memandu disekitar area KK:likas, inanam, manggatal, telipok, putatan, penampang + around kk lah bah kan, bule kamu kasi promote dorang pasal kami punya ni service + website… Hehe…Pasal harga untuk ambil lesen kereta tu, no problem… itu bule dirunding…

Haha... Though my final exam is just left 2 weeks more, but still have time to post some sharing... I say it as "Cool"... Yeahhh...To all my blogger's friends... Yeahhh... I surely will conquer you again soon... Don't go anywhere ya... Wait me there Mt. Kinabalu... I knew you miss me a lot... Same goes to me... I miss you every second of my life... Along the journey 8, 000 meter, you taught me about the meaning of life... I feel exhausted, but you keep remind me that, if I give up at this moment, I shall not able to see what lie on the top... You encourage me to keep on climbing... Slowly but will reach there soon... It's not to show off to other people that we are the champion but rather to prove ourselves that we ain't weak to continue to live as a human being... You taught me to be strong in mind, physical and spiritual... You showed me the Glory of God's Hand... You showed how to appreciate our life...

You keep accompanied me until the top. Even a blind people managed to conquer you, so same goes to me... You taught me the important to stay firm in what we have decided to do... If I plan to conquer you, so be it.... You taught me to look forward for the goal of life... Look back to remind ourselves to not repeat the same mistake of life... You taught me to watch every steps I make so that I will not fall on the ground of life... You taught me everything, everything about life just in 2 days, one night... Now, here I say... Tambunan... My Beloved Village...

Haha... This morning, I was surfing to certain website then suddenly I was stucked because I just can't believe what I was looking at... Is it this name really exist in this place??? Haha... Whether it is true or not, then let other people comment about it... But for me, it's very impossible... Maybe, someone edit it with adobe photoshop or any software similar to its function... Haha... Very funny...

Now, I wish to share about my village... Tambunan is a very peaceful place for people to live... I can't deny that this place is not well develop like other village... Compare with keningau, penampang... Tambunan is far behind in term of development and facilities... but one thing I came to realize... Thanks to our Huguon Siou (ngam kah tu nama... lupa sudah ni...) that Tambunan at least rest in peace...No pollution (air, noise, water) at all... No traffic jam like KK... Before this, I keep blaming this person for not able to develop his own place but when I reach this level of life, then only I able to understand that he did it purposely... Because tambunan is a place where we can find peace and happiness... Mostly, all the young generation of tambunian, including myself travel to other places to find job, studying, level up their life status, involve themselves in development of sabah (Politice) and many more...

But when the end of year coming... All these generation will return to this place, gather with their beloved parents, grandparents, relatives and have fun for the whole weekend together... Moginum, karoke, dancing, laughing and many more... In the other words... Reunion of the family... Wow...

These are some of the precious asset that money and development cannot give... and here I am proudly to say that, when my time come, I wish to rest in peace in my own village where I can reunite with my beloved grandpa, uncles and aunties... I just don't know why but my heart belong only to this place... My Tambunan...

My Confirmation Day...

Here I wish to share about my Confirmation Day at St. Thomas Church Kuantan Pahang. It was on the 27 of April 2008. I never though that this place will be a place for my confirmation which mean, a moment to receive the Power of the Holy Spirit. I was blessed by Archbishop Murphy Nicholas Xavier Pakiam accompanied by Rev. Fr. Benedict Eugene, the Priest of the St. Thomas that time (Now, he is in Cameron to lead the sheep to the road of God). That time, I was feel very excited and wonder how is the feeling being a Christian, Catholic. Together with my friends, Wenna (Sarawakian), Billy (Sarawakian), Jessico (Sabahan) and the two Indian guys (I am sorry because I forgot their name).

I can still feel the smell of the "Kemayan"... I feel the present of the Holy Spirit that time... Feel calm, calm and holy calm... Then Archbishop touch my head and pray... I was also praying that time... The smell of the Kemayan getting stronger and the holy calm turned into peace in me... It unite with me where I feel like somebody... I can't even feel the floor I step... My mind was empty but filll with peace, love, faith and hope... Alleluyah... Praise be to God... Now, I am a Christian...

My heart feel with the passion... I can feel the burden... Burden carried by someone... The Sin of the world... Then, this word came to me...

"Don't hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father

Matthew 5: 15-16"

I don't know why I feel the burden... The responsibility... I cried inside my heart and water drop from my eye... Why human keep sinning? Why? And Why they can't just follow the road provided by the Lord, Jesus Christ? Why must they choose their own road that lead them no way? Why they can't see the salvation from God? Why? And that day, change me, myself as a new Christian...

Going to Pulau Pinang…

On the 1^st October 2010, at 8.30pm… We leave our hostel college at Kolej Sains Kesihatan Bersekutu Sg. Buloh and direct to Station Kereta Api Tanah Melayu (KTM). There, we took train to Rawang station and wait for a train to Butterworth. We reached Rawang around 9.50pm. While waiting for the train, we went to Kedai Makan near the station to get something to eat.

At 10.30pm, train to butterworth arrived. We went in, put our heavy luggage bag at the side and have a rest. The journey took almost 7 hours to reach Buttterworth. Feel tired and pain all over my body. Maybe because of my bags… Sleep, wake up, sleep, wake up and it continues for 7 hours…

We reached Butterworth around 5.30am. The environment there was a little bit cold so we put RM1 in the vending machine to get a cup of hot Milo to warm our body. To go to Pulau Pinang, we can go by two ways… One by road (bridge) and one by Ferry. We choose ferry because ferry is just 50 meter from the KTM station. At first, that is also our first plan…So, stick to the old plan… The ferry is quite different from the ferry that I used to follow in Menumbuk to Labuan, Sabah.

Around 6.30am, we leaved jetty… The ferry move quite fast and it was so comfortable… We can see the view of Pulau Pinang from ferry. Sadly, the weather is not welcome us… It was very heavy rain. We reached at the jetty there (p.p) around at 7am. Waiting for this heavy rain to stop took almost one hour. We called our senior to ask for the direction then after got confirmation about the place we were going, we get two taxi since each one of us carried a lot of bags. So, each taxi, two persons. Did I ever mention that we have four person??? Forgive me if I forget to mention.

At last, we reached the place… The place that we were supposed to go… Hospital Pulau Pinang… Yeahhh… Actually, we went there to get our room for one month. Now, everything is DONE! Lol…

My Sweet moment

Hi guys… I just want to share with you all about my sweat time with my baby… You know, last weekend we went to the Times Square for a walks… After walks around for almost one hours and a half, we stop by at the ground floor and… Guess what…??? We went to KFC… Haha… Standard place to stop and eat… after we finish eating, we rest for a while and went to fifth floor… What is so special at fifth floor??? COSMO’S WORLD!!!

We played Roller Coaster, the Space Attack, Dizzy Dizziness (if I’m not mistaken) and many more (I didn’t see its name… sorry)… we also played the mini car and keep hitting with each other… But the most scary game that I wish not to play again were the Roller Coaster and the Space attack… I feel like my soul was left behind. My baby told me that she won’t play that game anymore… Hehe…

But before this, she was the one who were very excited want to play … But now... Hehe... That’s my baby… My Si Gauk… Haha… We spent for almost one day and feel very tired and dizzy… Well, actually we were celebrating our 2^nd anniversary… Thanks God for You sent someone to love me and to care me… You answered my prayer… Alleluya… Praise be to God… Amen. God, give us not what we want, but what you know we need… Your WILL be DONE through Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ… Amen.

Personality:
1. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
2. Don't have negative thoughts of things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment

Hi guys... Sorry for not updating my blog for almost two weeks... I just want to let you all know that this week, i'm going to Hospital Pulau Penang for Clinical purpose. I'm doing my clinical there for one month. It is focus on Orthopaedic. Haha... I'm quite nervous because I feel myself have not ready yet for the clinical but still I have to go. Guys, here want to share a little bit about DOTS COMMITTEE.

DOTS COMMITTEE is an official Student Council organisation established by Occupational Therapist from Kolej Sains Kesihatan Bersekutu Sg. Buloh Selangor. It was established by En. Hanafiah. The purpose of this organisation is to encourage OT trainee to "go online" share their knowledge and social activities. Now, its purpose is forward extended to Trainee of Occupational Therapy from KSKB Sg. Buloh in all aspects. PAK PANDIR TERPIJAK TAHI (NAJIS)

Nak dijadikan cerita, suatu hari pak pandir melalui satu lorong yang
kecik semasa hendak pulang ke rumahnye. Entah macamana, di tengah
perjalanannye tadi dia terjumpe seketul taik (najis) yang masih panas. Tapi dia
masih konpius sama ada betul ke bende yang dia jumpe tu seketul taik (najis).
Oleh kerana kemusykilan yang teramat sangat tu, pak pandir ambil
keputusan untuk mengkaji sampel najis berkenaan.
Pak pandir tengok ngan lebih dekat taik tersebut, lalu dia berkata,
"Bentuk macam taik(najis)."
Lepas tu dia pegang pulak taik tu, lalu dia berkata,
"Lembik...macam taik(najis)."

Lepas tu dia ambik sikit taik tu lalu dia hidu taik tu, lepas tu dia berkata,
"Bau macam taik(najis)."

Oleh
kerana pak pandir ni masih ragu-ragu dengan taik tu lalu dia pun
mengambil keptusan untuk mejilat sedikit taik(najis) tersebut. Sebaik sahaja
dia menjilat taik(najis) berkenaan dia pun menjerit...
"MEMANG TAIK(najis)! NASIB BAIK AKU TAK TERPIJAK!!!"
